I have allways wondered if this was the case and if so, I would pass on the opportunity. I think I would be to intimidated.

Yeah they almost always have someone near by in the room next door to them or if you have a girl come over 50% of the time someone waits for them in the car.

Yes.  He usually stands in the corner with 12-gauge or a baseball bat with nails through it.  Don't worry.  Most of them won't try to join in, but just let him do whatever if he does.  Those nails really hurt.

The answer is that what you would expect is that whatever 'help' she may have arranged is arranged so delicately and unobtrusively that you'd never even know it .. unless you cause the kind of trouble that needs the help.

Just put that out of your mind .... be sincere ... and ... have fun.
