you did not take the time to read the newbie manual or familiarize yourself with how this place works, what the rules are and why, don't go all postal on us. Feel free to skedaddle if you want. There's plenty here to make the hobby safe and enjoyable for everyone. But we don't need anymore attitude around here....
My advice - stick to the friendly and tolerant newbie board and learn what's up here. Learn enough to know what you are talking about.
If you bring that attitude here to the general discussion board, you're going to get chewed up...
I just want to clarify one thing for you as a newbie:
Before posting a review, always read the guidelines, and the reasons why a review could be rejected. You did not have to post 5 reviews to finally find out how to write the juicy details. Your reviews were lacking details of your encounter, and we gave you the option to modify and resubmit it.
As for the VIP membership, we really appreciate your support, however if you are not satisfied by our service, we will respectfully refund your credit card.
As for the site being SCAM, I believe in what "Elbert Hubbard" said:
---- "Never explain -- your friends do not need it and your enemies will not believe you anyway.”---
May be other members who have been here for more than 3 years can tell you if we are SCAM or not.
No, it's not a scam. As mentioned, yes you do have a review posted, and if you edit and resubmit your others, (also suggested) you'll find that they will also be posted. Just follow the rules. If you check in "Account Manager", you will also find that you got 15 days of "free" VIP membership for the review that was posted.
Why don't you drop the attitude, go to the newbies board and learn a few things. It's not a scam, and we are here to help, in spite of the attitude.
VIP is not about making reviews, it's about reading others complete reviews. Even if your review is not posted immediately, you have the option of resubmitting at a later time and still getting crediot for the review.
The option to restrict first time reviewers of first time ladies is to prevent false reviews. It's a little harsh but the protection is worth it. After you've reviewed a lady with reviews, repost. skb
well that would be the question wouldn't it!? My best hobbying experiences are with the ladies I have met through PMs on TER- or at TER promoted M&Gs.... period hands down.
A second reason is the exchange of info in PMs with providers and fellow hobbiests alike...
A third - would be my ability to use aliases... when I feel the need (not often, but it happens) and the fourth...
To be able to conduct specific types of searches not available to a mere mortal membership....
and who would expect a superhero to have only a mere mortal membership anyway, it is appropriate that it be a superhero membership....
Seriously, value? for shere entertainment purposes alone, TER is a bargin @$3.50 a week, less than the cost of a movie theater ticket, I get to go onto the P&R board... and explore all I want.... ya cannot make that stuff up....
But more importantly, it is a community.... plain and simple.
I'll bet you are one of the saps that supports NPR - or International Public Radio... speaking of which... when did they go international and if they did, should they not get their funding from the UN... and not the US???
Other then the NPR rant (back to the P&R board for that BSD- lol) I agree with what BSD had to say. But I wish to add that without being able to read the juicy details in the reviews you'd be missing a LOT of very valuable information. I’m just coming up on my 1 year anniversary and I truly believe that I would not have had all the wonderful and deeply fulfilling experiences I have had so far if I did not have the VIP to look at those details. Add in all the benefits that BSD listed and having the VIP benefits is hands-down the best damned money I could have spent.
And that’s all I have to say about that….

(This testimonial was not paid for nor was any compensation given to me by TER for saying this. But I wouldn’t turn down any such reward should it be offered - hint hint)
Did you read the Newbies Manual? Did you post a thread on the FAQ for Newbies board to try and get help? Did you contact TER about how to get your reviews approved? Or did you just go on Suggestion and Policy Board and attack TER and when that didn't get any attention, did you post on the GD board?
If you want to be a part of this community, you have to be a part of the community. Don't just come in and blast away that this is a scam when you clearly have not spent much time getting to know how things work on TER. You have no posts on the newbie board, none on the Chicago Board and your only post here and on Suggestion & Policy board is what a scam TER is.
Try contributing and being a part of the community and I think you will be suprised at how much you get out of TER.
Best of luck and consider having a little better attitude and taking some time to read about this place and how things work.
but then again, he does not have my superhero abilities... ya know,
Able to walk through walls, when some one opens the door...
Able to see through concrete (if there is a window in the concrete wall,
Able to fly (in long cigar shaped objects called airplanes)
Able to leap to the top of skyscrapers (in an elevator)
is stronger than a locomotive (especially on a hot August day, after a 3 hour workout then mowing the lawn in workout clothes that have not been washed in a week....)
Is faster than any olympic sprinter (when I am going downhill in my '63 chevy...)
much angst has been expressed on the one lady, one review... situation... where when you click on a lady with one review, the reviewer has written only one review... of the same said lady.
oh well..... we all have off days... and this is the best response to this yet.
I am fairly new to the hobby and to TER. I have never once felt like I was being scammed...quite the contrary. I appreciate the effort that goes into providing a safe harbor to those of us who feel it necessary to play safely. I've only had two provider encounters...both wonderful, as a result of thorough research through this site. I've reviewed both providers and been posted both times. Your problem?.....
I discovered TER some years ago and became a VIP member for the reviews initially. It has been a wonderful service. The reviews are very useful and have really changed the quality of my experiences. I have really enjoyed the posts and the people I have met through them. I pay for VIP membership because I don't want the pressure of needing to review when I don't want to or when --like now-- I am temporarily away from the hobby.
I am sorry you have had a bad experience, most of us have not.
Unfortunately it looks like your attempt to purchase VIP membership has failed due to your card being declined. Good news is that we have several other payment options that you could try.
