even though cannabis is still "medical" only in california, it's extremely common and generally tolerated/accepted. there's more dispensaries then there are starbucks in LA. we consume quite a bit of weed down here lol. with that said many providers still don't advertise being 420 friendly even though they easily could if they wanted to, without much hassle. most of us have our medical cards and it's only a ticket (not even a misdemeanor) if you get caught in possession without your recommendation/card so it doesn't matter much.

once you get to know a provider (sometimes in the 1st session) you'll find out that they smoke weed too and you'll end up smoking a bowl together lol. it's been my experience that quite a few providers in LA smoke weed. i'm not talking about $300 girls in the SFV or whatever, either. many different ladies and people in general light up. honestly it's much more easier on your mind and body than alcohol. not to mention it never makes you incoherent and rowdy or anything and sex is usually a bit more sensual and all around nicer when you're baked.

Just wanted to expand on the thread below. With recreational marijuana becoming legalized in Colorado, I'm sure Denver is going to become a major tourist destination for those looking to get high legally. Along those same lines, a lot of those folks visiting are going to want to have some intimate company when they do partake. This brings up two points I can think of:  
 
1. Ladies from the Mile High city may want to start being explicit in their ads and websites whether they are 420 friendly or not. Trust me, you're going to be getting asked this by potential clients A LOT.  
 
2. Hotels. From what I have read, it should be fine to use marijuana in hotel rooms that allow smoking. I guess if you use non-smoking means to get high (like vape-pens, etc) this isn't a big deal. But I would be curious if some hotels are openly 420 friendly or not. As a visitor, I'd love to get a nice suite downtown close to a marijuana shop for a few nights and have a visitor or two during my stay.  
 
Feels kind of strange writing this thread, but with marijuana now completely legal for any adult to use in private, I think we should start having a conversation about how this affects the hobby.

How does that make it legal?

It will be interesting if there IS a noticable rise in Colorado's tourism and how different commercial businesses adapt.
 In "Liberal(?)" California one must still have a doctors prescription, then drive MILES out of your way too find a MM dispensary. You also can be ticketed for smoking "tobacco" at an outdoor cafe, or at the beach for crissakes.

Where do you live? Here in L.A. or more specifically in the S.F. Valley, they're all over the place.
Practically they are next door to each other in some places like Reseda.

If it's a prescribed drug I shouldn't need drive any further than one would if going to CVS or Waldbaums. I'm not saying the giant corporate chain's need carry it. But closing down 95+% of the MM dispensaries while over 10 liquor/tobacco outlets operate within a square mile is a bit hypocritical.

Doesn’t mean providers need to start openly announcing their personal stance on 420. Alcohol is legal too. But I’m betting most providers would rather not be part of any clients ‘alcohol tour’.

Individual providers will have their own individual thoughts on the matter; some fine with it, some not. Just one more 'one-size-does-not--fit-all' proposition.  

And, for what its worth: I doubt Denver is destined to become some kind of marijuana tourism destination. The fact that marijuana is illegal has never stopped those who want to smoke marijuana from doing so. I hardly see the advantage of going out of your way to travel to CO to smoke weed in private

Pot is all but legal for personal consumption in so many places now, it's just a matter of time before the other dominos fall as well. I can't imagine too many people booking a ticket to Denver just to avoid the slap on the wrist that comes from getting caught with a few grams of week.

Alcohol is legal in every state, and I don't see many providers advertising "drunk friendly" sessions, so I really don't see this being that big a deal as far as the hobby goes.

That said, I do applaud the voters in Colorado for making a big step in reclaiming our rights as supposedly "Free" citizens. We still have a long ways to go, but it is a huge step in the right direction. FWIW, I don't even indulge, but I am a huge supporter in repealing laws that throw people in prison for smoking a damn weed in the privacy of their own homes.

I dunno. I can only speak for myself, but it's always been a fantasy of mine to spend some time with a provider and use marijuana at the same time. However, with the increased risks involved I've never done this. The prevailing wisdom has always been not to mix the world of hobbying with the world of illicit drugs and I've always played it safe in that regards. No reason to turn the potential of a misdemeanor into a felony. I'm a big believer in reducing risks wherever possible with seeing escorts.

Personally I would love to visit Denver to live out this fantasy now that that one element of risk has been removed. Hey, I've always danced to to the tune of a different drum and never apologized for it so I don't mind being an odd ball for looking forward to having the opportunity! :D

I think someone mentioned it not being a good idea for providers to advertise themselves as being 420 friendly, and yeah I can kinda see the wisdom of that. No reason to attract additional attention to themselves regardless of pot being legal now.

not only is it a ridiculous waste of $ and resources, despite the govt.'s best efforts, continuing this 'war' is clearly futile...lol...

But yeah....some providers will still be OK with firing up with clients BCD. And, some still won't. Upside is, in CO or WA it might be a little less dicey to ask upfront. But overall, I doubt much changes.

legalized this wonderful hobby in one state hahahahahaha. Think about that for a minute. LOL

Ok, you're allowed to fuck for 30 minutes per week @ so and so cost so she can claim it legally and you can't get busted. It's all the same donation so the gov can keep track and there's no competition as far as the girls are concerned. Reviews are thrown out the door.

Supply and demand????  

I highly doubt there'd be a shortage in this arena hahahahahaha.

Reviews still exist in places where it's legal, but they are not as paramount when you can meet a woman in the flesh, see what she looks like and ask her EXACTLY what's on the menu before proceeding without either of you worrying that the other might be a cop.

hell LOL, seems like you found yourself a goldmine in these other countries...that's awesome. But I am a bit puzzled why you would share your lil secret with all the Johns here...you could be responsible for making it an issue of 'supply and demand' at some point then........

Perhaps you should bring your buddy CPA, ya know the King? Just be sure to ask the Queen first out of due respect. He is quite obsessed with this OTC and negotiation bit. Quite frankly, I think he needs to get it out of his system lol. Hey more power to him and guys like him, if the ladies 'buy' it, then 'buy'all means lol...who am I to say anything different.... but I won't 'buy' it ;)

At least promise you do 'tip' well when you're down there since you're getting a bargain rate. Ya know, out of respect for these lovely ladies and ya know, since you are an American coming from the land of 'plenty'. I would hate to think it would lend a bad name or rep to those Gentlemen who actually DO play this game the way it's supposed to be played now. Ya know, no negotiations, no questions, and deff no requests for OTC especially prior to meeting for the first time, come on ......I mean that would just be downright unfair to them, now wouldn't it?

I could go into the 'mathematical' equation again...however, I have a rather busy day ahead of me working for the 'man'. Just kidding, I don't have a 'boss' lol. Enjoy your day!

Under this concept, which I totally love, you'd probably have to have a license.  
If you have to have a license, I volunteer to head to the Coach store and get you a carrier for the license.
Considering the mentality of our mentally-defective elected officials, I wonder.....  
So would it have be a wrist charm bracelet, a lovely ankle bracelet, or a naughty doggie collar?  
Would you have to put it on before you would be legally bone-able?
Now you know I'd never want to be disrespectful, but I'd want to make sure you are safely protected and still looking quite stylish in the process.  
If it's not a Coach, where else could I shop for you???

A Steve McQueen skull knuckle clutch will do me just fine. ;) Stunning...go ahead google it.  

However, I will settle for a knockoff as I can't justify spending 2k on a gorgeous clutch myself when I have kids to put thru college lol. Don't get me started on fashion Dave.....I could be here for days lol. I think most would frown on that idea ;)

I do have my eyes on a lovely pair of Zanotti heels too, ok like 10 pairs......but that's why they make 'wish lists' right?
