LOL
Tell us what really happened. We are family here ,no negative judgement.
"Low-T" problem to me. If you are over 45, your Testosterone production will gradually decrease as you age. Replacement therapy can eliminate that "drained" feeling. See a urologist and get tested. If you need supplemental T to perform at your best without the dip in energy afterward, he will prescribe it for you.
Testosterone therapy can be a double-edged sword. Who needs a raging hard-on if you get cancer. Which is why your advice to see a urologist is good.
Testosterone therapy MAY speed the growth of cancer cells in some individuals. That's why I get a Testosterone therapy panel every 6 weeks, which includes T-level, estradiol level, hepatic function and PSA score, and recommend the same for anyone over 50 on T-therapy. If the needle moves higher on the PSA score to a number above 4.0, you get checked for cancer. (I use an online consolidator to order the tests and get them for about one-third the normal lab price, so it's no sweat doing them as often as I want it makes me comfortable with the knowledge of where I stand on a regular basis.) The best delivery is by intramuscular injection, usually into your thigh or glute. If you're a simp and don't think you can dose yourself with a needle thick enough to deliver the oily suspension, they have a gel for five times the price you can rub on your shoulder. No one has to know. Lol
I've been on T-therapy (started for weightlifting performance and quickly discovered the side effect was a better boner) for 7+ years and my PSA score has never topped 2.5. If you lift, you will find the added Testosterone will reduce the time at the gym you need to maintain the level of muscle mass you want as you age. Workouts become more efficient The regular monitoring is the key. Once your urologist gets you into the sweet spot, dosage-wise, stringent adherence to the med schedule will keep you at high-energy and peak performance athletically, including sexual athletics, if you are so inclined to take advantage of that aspect at no additional cost except the provider. Lol
One note about PSA levels, in recent years what's emerged is an understanding that it's not just the absolute PSA # but how much it changes year to year. You can be well under a 4 but if it spikes from 2 to 3 in the course of a year that's a cause for concern.
Still not a urologist.
Do not get a PSA test within 5 days of having sex, even masturbating.
Doing so sends the PSA score up artificially, scaring the shit out of you.
I'm also not a urologist, but sometimes I play being a gynecologist. 8o)
Worse yet do not get a PSA test after BDSM pegging session.
Almost ended up with biopsy after that mistake
A month later when retested was fine
Definitely not a Urologist
a fine line between prostate stimulation and prostate abuse.
gynecology is just a hobby for me, not a profession. However, I have perfected a taste-test for breast cancer.
I am under 45 but have recently gotten back into weightlifting after too long of a break. I realized it was something I had to start doing now or I might lose the opportunity to be in decent shape forever. I might be too young for Testosterone replacement but there are no age limits on anabolic steroids. I've been seeing progress but I always wondered. WWRD, what would roids do? In addition to the obvious upsides (big ass muscles) and a few downsides (the potential negative physical and negative health impacts), I was wondering if you had any thoughts? Do you think its a good idea to do some cycles of gear or should I just cut back on the six packs?
Never use anything benefit by professional sports. They have the money to do tests.
My buddy is 30 and he is on TRT. I’m on it and my lifts have went way up in my 50s. I went from 70lb dumbbell presses to 100s in about 7 months . It’s all legit but you have to put the work in.

at Venice Beach in the 80's was one of the biggest proponents of roid use in that scene and got a lot of the guys started on it. My balls were producing all the T I needed then, so I passed. 15 years later these guys started dying due to kidney failure. Delivery was by injection only in those days. Since then, they have been watered down a lot and are available in capsule and tablet form, which don't give you the health risks of injectables. their effectiveness is similar to the OTC supplements for ED. They can work on some people but others need something stronger prescribed by a licensed professional.
It's rare for younger guys to have low T, but it does happen. I have a nephew who is 34 and has been on TRT for two years. He has huge thigh muscles so that's where he takes the jab. He started because he had low energy and couldn't motivate himself to go to the gym some days. Just be aware that if you ramp up your body's testosterone level too fast, you can become very aggressive and irritable, which got him arrested early on when he pulled a guy out of a convertible and slammed him on the ground after the guy sped into the parking place he was waiting for. Once his body got used to the higher level, he mellowed out nicely. No matter what your age (providing you have already entered puberty), you can get a testosterone test to see where you are.

IMO TRT should be part for the course at a certain age if needed - as long as it's monitored and managed by a competent doctor.
OTOH, I'm not sure steroids are ever safe.
Beware of over-the-counter (OTC) testosterone boosters.
My story? I started taking these and my blood pressure shot-up to 180/120!
Then, I read the fine print which said "Do not use if you have high blood pressure." (Mine was slightly high.)
Nevertheless, It did raise my T to the 700s. Not great if you have a stroke!
ATTB
Try this stuff!
I've experienced the same thing, and I believe it's just nature way of cycling through your hormones and giving you a breather to recharge and to do other things.
i did the testosterone butt implants a few years ago .. didn't make much difference ... i think exercise and losing weight has had a more noticeable impact .... but even when younger ... its amazing how the sexual desire goes from 100 to near zero after cumming. used to take about 4 to 5 hours ...now a couple days to recharge. ......
ahhh up to when i was 50 i would spend a week in vegas and different girl EVERY night .. now one the first night and i discover how comfortable the bed and sheets are for the next couple nights! LOL
"You will feel better if you eat a healthy diet and get regular exercise. IDK, it might be worth a try."
This is funny, when I mentioned a certain person the most excellent moderators decided this exact comment wasn't relevant to the discussion. The point being, drugs aren't necessarily the answer to everything.
They are not an answer to everything, but they ARE an answer to SOME things. 170 years ago, pharmaceutical science was pretty much limited to herbology and snake oil. Average life expectancy at that time was 40 years. I will finish with the caveat that most drugs have both a positive and negative aspect (some don't have a negative and these are the holy grail), and you need to weigh the benefits against potential downside BEFORE considering their use. Just about every advertisement for new prescription drugs on television includes a disclaimer about potential side-effects, that usually ends with, "And in rare cases, death." Inform yourself before starting, even when a doctor recommends it.

i need to lose 25lbs and get on the treadmill more often ... although cardio can lower your T LOL .... whereas if i get my ass back on the chest bench and do weights that would raise ! fortunately my dick can last a lot longer than my cardio wheeze gasp cough can in the bedroom. lol
in the same trip to the gym, do the cardio first. During intensive weightlifting, lactic acid flows to the muscles involved. You want it to pool there in order to fuel the muscle cells. If you do the weights first and the cardio second, your higher heart rate will cause your blood to transport the lactic acid out of the muscles that need it for growth, thereby reducing the effectiveness of your weightlifting workout. It should always be cardio first, weightlifting last.
how about .. Cardio first, passing out second! LOL .. i just discovered the Baldwin Hills steps .. i did about 20% way up and said fuck this and went back down LOL well humming rocky music i guess that should be my goal for the next several months.
There's a lot of things that are rare for any female & Male under a certain age, But it happens!!!
