I've been fooled - more than once - but I've also had the genuine thing -

With some providers I know that the "attraction" is very much mutual - and I would say it is a date!  and hopefully she does too.

With some providers I know that I am very tolerable and they are happy that I booked the time... and it is a session... between friends.

And with some - it was an appointment, clocked much as with the psychologist... complete with exit lines.

Or I have an appointment I have to get to..

I like it when a provider has a "friend" (another provider) over and tells her "friend" as I arrive that "this is the guy that rocked her world."  But then I always wake up!

It all depends

on whom I'm talking to.  Friends/family that don't know what I do...I have an appointment to keep.  With people who know what I do....it's a date.  No matter what I call it, I think of it as a date...never a session.

Other than "session" using meeting, friend or date is OK by me.Here's

an example of a classy e-mail sent to me by a provider: " Hi...., I'm not home tonight.I asked my *friend* if I could use *the* computer to write to you.I don't have my schedule with me.I will have to get back to you tomorrow...."

Note the emphasized words that don't disclose if the friend is male or female!

I'll say . . .

an appointment if I'm talking to a provider friend (because that's professional and I'm used to it), but I'll say a date with a gentleman. It gets me -- and hopefully him -- more in the mood because I really want it to be more of a date than a screw. Just my .02 cents.

In my limited contacts with a provider, I have requested a 'date'.  Sounds more intimate than a 'session' or 'appointment'.

Totally depends on the person. In my few encounters those terms never came up, actually it wasn't really discussed. I would call them appointments myself but I don't really care who calls it what. What are you comfortable with?

Some people are just so insecure and sensitive nowadays....

Now an ugly word in this business is "trick" a term used on the streets. I don't think most providers here would call their clients "tricks." They have more class than that, or so I would hope.

Just saw an old documentary on the subject which got me to reply here. Some of those women (on the streets) have been beaten down by life they just don't care anymore and it is sad to see what an ugly outlook they have on life because they haven't seen the good side of it.
