So I have been around for about three years and although not all my reviews are top notch I would still not want anything extremely hurtful to be published, something which could hurt my reputation and income. So the client should have been screened better as he did not have any references but I gave him a chance and boy did I regret it. He walked in and had this crazy look in his eyes from the get go then a major demanding kind of attitude. Anyhow not sure how it happened but I ended up asking him to take his money and leave, before anything progressed further as I felt extremely uncomfortable. Again first time in my entire career. As he exited he expressed that the experience was a huge disappointment but that he was not going to write me a bad review. Of course I naturally worry anyway, Now the question is, would he even be in a position to write one since no encounter took place and he took his money back? Opinions or facts about policies will be appreciated.

AlessandraJolie you handled this professionally. I think if a session feels wrong from the beginning from either party it should end and no money exchanged. The monger's behavior was enough to make you uncomfortable and that is reason enough to terminate the session. At least he was understanding enough to respect your decision it was not a good fit and would not post anything detrimental. I've had situations where I've gone through with sessions that I should have ended at the beginning because the provider's behavior was erratic, so it does happen on both sides.    

Ali you have 5 pages of reviews and the vast majority are 8s, 9s and 10s. Your overall rating is above 9. A bad review won’t hurt you. Sometimes things don’t work out. Most guys understand this.  We’re also able to read between the lines on a bad review. For instance I can imagine the sani wipe guys was just gross lol  

and you have 50 of them! A single outlier will stand out as a special case and not your usual.  

From the outside looking in (as a client that has been hobbying for a long time) I can tell you what I look for when I research a potential provider.  Consistency, that may come in the form of review averages, or just overall review consistency.  Looking at your scores, I can see that you have a history of good service, and reading your reviews tells me that as well.  I wouldn't worry if I were you should a negative score or review pop up, and maybe this is just me but I think most of us can tell when a reviewer is full of shit.  In all honesty, from what you explained, I don't think TER would allow that review because it doesn't fall under the category of a "Ripoff" IMO, and no session happened.  You simply stated that you didn't feel comfortable, gave him his donation back and asked that he leave.  Now had you kicked him out and kept the donation, maybe that would apply, or even if he writes a bogus review and lies and said you did, you can always dispute the review.  

...If I'm interested in seeing a lady, she's averaging at minimum a 7-8 for performance/menu.  When I see a low score, I always read the review but like another said, it's pretty easy to read between the lines so I wouldn't be worried about this outlier.

“No session = no review, unless you kept his money and did go through with the session. If he writes a review, you can challenge it by messaging admin.  

Sorry to hear about your bad experience but NEVER skimp on your screening.

Social media sites in favor of a provider’s own website. That’s where we go to verify prices for ladies we find on TER.  If you make us go to multiple sites to find the ones that DO have prices, many of us will just go on to another provider who MAKES IT EASY for us to verify her prices with ONE click of her LINK to her own site.  Now that I have pointed this out to you, the fact that you are still resistant to putting your prices on your OWN website is a red flag for me.

TER does allowing reviews where the "session" didn't happen but the actual meet did. I've been here long enough to remember such reviews where the session didn't happen. It's usually the guy walks out cause of some bait and switch or that the the girl was a rip off. They're usually PSA reviews to help the community. But in your case, you have a history of favorable reviews on your side. He might submit one, you'll go through the back and forth of the "he said she said thing" with TER. And in the end it'll be up to TER to allow or don't allow the review.
But, don't worry..most guy will look at the total body of your reviews and kick out the one questionable review.
And by the way, kudos to you, you did the right thing, after you did the wrong thing in not screening thoroughly.

Your profile was started in 2020, nearly three and a half years ago, so a potential customer like me has no idea if that rate was only good in 2020, and has not since been updated.  That's why it's incumbent on a provider to let us see the rates on her proprietary website for comparison.  If they are the same, it's all good, if the prices on the website are higher, then it means the ones on her TER profile are out of date, and when they are different, customers should expect that the prices on her OWN website are the most recent and that is what they will pay.    

She has a TER profile that states her rates. She has a Tryst ad that states her rates. She had a P411 ad that states her rates. They are all consistent. Not everyone has a website. Lack of clarity on pricing was not the issue here.

It can't be "1 - Rip-off," because no money was exchanged. "2 - Should have stayed home" would, again, require that something actually happened, and nothing did. So, it would seem, he would have to lie his ass off to get a review approved since he was only out his time. As always, you do have recourse if you disagree with the review. But, man, it would look pretty weird to see anything less than a 6 with all the rest of your scores. Even a 6 would stand out.

That's probably common, but it's not unusual for some escorts to have significant others.

Allie as someone who has met you I can assure everyone you are the ultimate professional and really fun. He is a complete idiot. I sure hope he isn't able to write a review. He can't even write a rip off review since you gave the money back. If he tries hopefully TER will reach out to you to verify. I wish better luck to you in the future.

So sorry this happened to you! But you did the right thing by telling him to take his money and leave. Watch to see if he does write and review and if it is dishonest you should be able to dispute it.

Jesus.  I'm not in that league.  Please tell us how we know that the rates listed in her TER profile are accurate and up to date?  Her profile was created in 2020.  Rates of most providers have gone up in the last three years.  When reviewers write a review of a girl who already has a provider, the prices just carry forward from the profile and there is no drop-down to change them.  It requires direct contact with Support, and many will not take the time to update prices.  Likewise, if her proprietary website, which she DOES have, simply says "contact me for rates", tell us how we can be sure that the rates quoted on a Tryst ad and P411 are accurate and current.  They are NOT ALL consistent, because she has no prices on her own website.   Often, to avoid scams in this business requires a little bit of critical thinking, so you can't be one of those who fawn over providers without connecting all the dots.

During intros and early contacts, it wouldn't be unusual to mention "I didn't see any rate info on your website. Are the numbers on your Profile accurate / up to date?"

If I found more than one ad for a Provider with different rates, I would usually introduce myself and say, "I saw your [fill in ad with the lowest rate] Ad" and hope for the best. When there was no rate in her ads, I would "ask" by not asking but mentioning "I didn't see any rates on your [website] Ad. [pregnant pause]... ?" That would usually get around to directions to her posted rates or an actual discussion of rates.

Obviously NOT, since you keep harping on the fact that her profile was created in 2020.  Hobbyists aren't the only ones who are allowed to update profiles.  It's in a provider's own best interest to update her profile so clients won't be confused.

knowing you were played for a sucker and went through with it.  I tip $100 most of the time, but I don't like being scammed for it.  Your lack of understanding of this shows your lack of knowledge of the indie market and the prevalence of hustlers and scammers in general.  There are honest indies and there are those that are always on the hustle, and the latter leaves a bad taste in anyone's mouth.  It's like giving a c-note to a guy who says he's homeless and hasn't eaten in three days, and then you see him later driving a late-model car.  You were hustled and now feel like an idiot for giving him the money.  I have been up-charged by indie providers in the past, and when it happens, it puts me off of the whole indie scene.  Hard to have a GFE feel when you have just been scammed.   Accordingly, I never see a provider that does not have a website of her own, and has her prices listed on that website for the reasons I stated.  Lack of visible prices just facilitates scamming.  The industry standard is to list prices, and YOU don't think it's a red flag when a provider doesn't want to do that?  You need to get out more and see some indies.  Then you will know it's NOT an assumption.  There's a whole provider world out there that is beyond YOUR limited experience.

to make sure her own website matches her profile prices, so that we know for sure.   Saying, "contact me for prices" suggests that prices are not standard for everyone and that they may even be fluid from customer to customer.  It's easy for her to say that the websites that she doesn't own are wrong, and then raise the price on a case by case basis.  If you contact her and say you are a doctor, lawyer, or CEO, you may be quoted a higher CURRENT price than if you say you are a salesman.  This has happened to me a few times.  Why does SHE want to leave that option open?  She should close that door and state what her CURRENT prices are on her OWN website.  Just my opinion after getting bumped a few times by indies.

link I provided to the website that she said she didn't have?  Her blatant lie gave me the right to be a little condescending and call her "sweetie", something that you didn't catch before you joined the other newbie in calling me out.  I know more about this biz than most people.  Pay attention, and I'm happy to share information that can help you stay out of scams and trouble.  There is a reason she wants customers to call to get her rates instead of posting them on her website (that she says she doesn't have).  Be a little more alert and you won't embarrass yourself like this.  Doubling down with this last post was your second mistake.  I know being a newbie is tough, but don't make it tougher than it has to be by saying things that don't make any sense and show a low level of actual experience with providers.

walking out on a price bump, but from some of the newbie posts on here, it appears we are in the minority.  Most guys that are new are worried about looking cheap, and that being reflected in a bad reference or something worse, so they just go along to get along with the price bump.  There have been plenty of posts here over the years that show that is the prevailing wind among less-experienced mongers.  It is misplaced pride, because I pride myself in being a tipper.  They will get the extra hundred anyway as a tip, but I'm not going to let me hustle me for it. up front, so I don't care if I LOOK cheap or not, because I tip every provider I see, so I know I'm not cheap, and that's all that matters.

Being a "TER newbie" does not make for a "mongering newbie." You're gaslighting yourself. In fact, within the past week I saw a post of yours that said you joined TER 6 mos after you started mongering. But you keep telling yourself things, lots of things, to keep your fantasy going. The repetition must get boring, but you're trapped in your fictional life so you might as well enjoy!!

check the Top Posters List above the forum index, you will see the exact month and year I joined TER.  Yes, I made many mistakes during the few months of mongering BEFORE I joined TER, so you can argue that you have a lot more experience that the four months you have been HERE.  The only problem is that your posts don't reflect that claim.  You're not alone, many guys come here and brag about their P4P history, but when they start posting, you realize that it's not always as represented.  They get a half a dozen reviews up, and now they are an expert on everything.  Your posts are not reflective of content that seems to span a long time period, but to more recent experiences.

I learned this from reading this board for 14 years.  Shady behavior by sketchy providers is a recurring theme here.  
Getting bumped is something that a lot of guys accept.  You and I may be the outliers.  Psychologically, once many guys have made the decision to see a certain girl, they will follow through regardless of whether the price is increased by a "bump" at the door or not.  Now that you know it's not an assumption, which you seem obsessed with for some weird reason, how about an apology?  Not man enough?  That's okay, it's what I expected.  Lol
