I decided to post this here rather than the politics board because I feel that the subject of this thread is NOT that incendiary & the posters ( or bloggers ) here are smart enough NOT to let this descend into heated & stupid
partisanship.
Politically speaking, I'm a left of center independent & I find the presidential frontrunners in both parties ( Clinton & Giuliani ), to be SO gravely flawed that I wouldn't vote for either on a bet. Anyone agree with my sentiments ?
If those end up being our choices, it will be like choosing between a Suzuki Samurai and a '72 Pinto...one explodes vs. the other rolling over. The solution: GOBAMA.
I stand in the same place as you, and I'm definitely not happy with having to choose between the two.
Pocket---don't you think you're overdoing it with that angry face emoticon ? I violated none of the guidelines by posting this thread here.NOWHERE do the guidelines state that the general discussion board is limited ONLY to provider-hobbyist relations & NOT other topics, which include politics. If you look at the definition of the word "general" in the dictionary it states :"relating to or covering all instances".If this is a true general discussion board, then it means ALL topics are covered. If you don't wanna discuss this thread, fine, but no need to get angry about it & let other posters have the right to speak their minds,or not if they please.
and the emoticon aside, I'm not in any way angry about the post.
Thing is, I have accidentally clicked into the P&R board a few times and would REALLY hate to see what I saw there spill over here.
And it would appear that I'm not in the minority in this opinion.
Happy face icon applied to negate the effects of the the previous bad angry face...
All political discussion has the potential to be incendiary, and this post is no exception.
I'll save my political opinions for the P&R board. Sorry
and I don't know enough about Rudy to make an informed decision.
Hate to pile on, but yes, this would be better on the P&R board since it's stricly political.
Politics is NOT out of bounds here, but I think its got to be more directly relevant to questions of commercial sex -- threads about decriminalizing/legalizing the hobby, or the problems of sexual trafficing [which we have a few threads earlier] are of more immediate and apparent interest and relevance to this Board.
in shall we say a provider/hobbyist relationship?
That's a more appropriate question for to this Board right?
And if you would pay, how much? Remember Hillary is not going to be cheap? Can Rudy afford a night with Hillary or would it have to be a quickie?

I imagine them, now that you've raised the question, in a very interesting BDSM relationship. Multiple hours probably, but I don't care to speculate about the paraphenalia, the garb, or the exact actions taken.
Rudy would probably regrow his hair, and Hilary might think, shit, serial philander or not, WJC really has a lot to recommend him as a significant other.
What makes you think that Rudy will?
Now we've got a topic fitting for this board.
Indeed we do, and WITHOUT the crudeness, vulgarity, insnsitivity and undisguised hostility of the politics board [lol].
BTW, have you ever taken a really close look at Judi Guiliani-Nathan? [More LOL]
Rudy is a very kinky guy. He lets Hillary do it all as she starts off with some heavy bondage: whipping, CBT and alternating shots with a cattle prod then a TASR gun. She then moves on to water sports, medical scenes and some forced feminization. Rudy is loving it all as Hillary then into some heavy
scatalogical play which is too disgusting to even chronicle on this perverse forum. Let's just say Rudy eats it up.
Then in a sudden move with 'The Country's Mayor' tied up, Hillary demands some kankle worship. Immediately Rudy starts to sweat and shake uncontrollably. For the first time ever in his BDSM career, he is forced to utter the safe word.
Which I'm sure will make many happy for those pissed at me for starting this thread in the first place. I understand there's an unspoken rule on the regional boards which is subject only to provider-hobbyist matters----& that's cool,I certainly can deal with that. However, this is A GENERAL discussion board----on the
gidelines it states :" messages outside the forum topic will be deleted"-----it DOES not state :"messages outside provider-hobbyist topics will be deleted". If it DID state that, I never would have posted this thread in the first place. To avoid this sort of thing in the future, maybe the guidelines have to be more clearly stated & this forum should no longer be referred to as a general discussion board. Something to think about----
The only reason I posted this damned thing in the first place is because I found many of the postings here to be quite articulate & intelligent---seemed to me many of you had eclectic fields of interest----whatever.
Peace out.
but the topic is one of sharp division and consequently almost impossible to discuss without individuals getting over exercised in their beliefs.
Any name you choose for a candidate not excluding Hillary or Rudy will still have a host of followers and critics.
So to ask your question on this Board with all its pseudo-intellectuals and spelling critiquers is still inviting political banter and the harshness you have experienced for even broaching the topic.

It's the reason that those of us that like to discuss such issues have been banished to the P&R board, where even moderators fear to tread.
Ask yourself a question, would you relly like the likes of JackO and AManLike AnyOther, posting over here in civilized company?
Don't be discouraged, it was business, not personal. It won't be held against you in any way.
Wander over to GrudgeLand [that's Politics to the rest of us] for real verbal assault and battery.
Keep yer chin up. Good luck, peace out.
Political posts on other than the P&R board be grounds for a 30 day ban.

This was before my time, but a real old-timer here told me that the politics board was created in 2004 specifically to keep that accursed subject matter off this baord.
I can only wonder why?
politics and hobbying don't mix.
It really IS amazing. Every 4 years I carefully review the history and policy positions of all candidates in both parties and conclusively prove to myself that, based on simple standards of rationality, honesty, and the common good, each one cannot possibly win. Yet every 4 years I am proven wrong. (For those interested in economics and political science, I cannot recommend highly enough the new book by economist Bryan Caplan: "The Myth of the Rational Voter".)
