I had some time to waste last night so I was perusing some of the reviews of providers in the Midwest. I found one provider that has me stumped. Provider in question is in early 30s, very beautiful blonde, and has reviews on here going back YEARS all showing looks scores in the 8-9 range and performance scores 3-4 range. Her screening process is similar to mine, she requires a small deposit ($50) and her price point would be considered on the higher end of mid range (Some of her sites say $500, some say $600). All of the reviews seem to be honest in that she is very pretty, but is also a high maintenance diva. She has a long list of rules, the client never gets the full time they booked for, she is rude, shows up late, and makes no apologies for her behavior. Now as a dominatrix I know there are guys that specifically want to be treated this way, but upon reading the reviews of the gentleman that have seen her I have found nothing to indicate this is something they normally seek out. So what is the logical explanation for this? Every single review ends with "I wasted my money and will never see her again." And "All of the previous reviews are correct, not worth it, waste of money." So WHY are you round heads still booking providers like this? WHY? Reviews are supposed to warn fellow clients, yet no one is smart enough to take the warning, obviously. She also is located in a larger city with plenty of other options, so that cannot be the case either. What gives???

read the reviews you are talking about?   Different people interpret reviews in different ways.  I don't see how anyone can answer your question without reading the reviews of which you speak.

No...I am not going to post the provider link. I *do* know some of the clients that have written reviews on her and I am not going to alienate protentional clients by calling them out on this post.  If you have any specific questions that I did not answer feel free to post them and I will do my best to add more details.

When I first came to TER in 2005 I advertised as Ms Patricia aka Ms Patricia 4 smiles & I wore a blonde wig. I truly believe there is a huge attraction for blondes it is not a secret. 🤐 Men love blondes, so do I lol. Really.  

I have always a blonde girlfriend in real life. As a female who is an entrepreneur & used to own my own escort agency I can tell you first hand that blondes get more quality bookings. I used to go out as a blonde with blue eyes & never got turned away. I see now first hand when my gf started over rebranding this year she already has almost double my social media following.  

Real shit it’s nothing new blondes have more fun & make more $. Obviously, she’s not having any problems booking dates with her bad reviews on TER it’s a shame you won’t post her, but if she lives close to you there are not many providers, so I’m sure she’s not hard to find. Would be the thought that many reviewers think when reading through reviews from a provider with bad reviews but good looks.  Some reviewers have a thought process and tell themselves "well maybe the client didn't look as good as me, or I've been called good looking IRL, so once she sees me she will like me and I will have a better session".  Either that or they're purposefully writing bad reviews so that they can keep her to themselves lmao.  

Is aware of TER's existence. Some partake in other boards and some don't partake at all and find their companions via ad sites, out in the wild, etc. So while she might be ruining her chances with some gentleman, she will probably always have business.

Everyone else's points probably play a role as well.

Because she's very attractive,  guys might believe they will be the "one" to break the mold. Somehow they will overcome and be the one that she enjoys being with the most. But, as every guy leaves the session he too, has just been defeated. Another one bites the dust!  Leaving, knowing she was not into you AT all, sparks these types of reviews. But for good reason.  

Think of the reviews not left. There would be plenty more bad ones I bet. Most likely she doesn't enjoy it or rarely has an attractive client? Who knows.  

Guys that see providers more regularly and have "hundreds" of stories to tell about ALL the fine women they've seen, has a false sense about themselves, ....that they are God's gift to women........... welllllllllll
........If you were "that guy" you wouldn't be paying for it all the time.  

That false sense sends them into a session with a lady like your describing, thinking they're going to be the "winner." But sadly....... not......

I'm not a fan of blondes, especially since most are fake blondes anyway.

Just to point out my experience - regardless of the fact that you pay for companionship, I have found many clients to be considerably more skilled in the bedroom than civilians.  

 
My clients are typically concerned with my pleasure - they want to satisfy me and generally their skills are darn good, probably from practicing with pros, lol!
They are more communicative and open in general.  

 
In my experience the guys I’ve seen outside the industry often are less concerned with my satisfaction, are less connected overall and don’t communicate as a rule. Many expect to kind of do their thing and I am used to more of an active role.  These are generalizations of course, but looking back at my hottest encounters - with only one exception, those were p4p.

To be honest I could easily ask how some of the providers that post ads and pic ever get any business but they do. And I'm not talking about the misleading pics but pics than seem pretty honest. A lot of different people in the world looking for different things.

Definitely alot of fake blondes out there. Even early 30s are not in their prime. 18-22 years old are in their prime.

I used to think I was in my prime in my 20’s & 30’s, but I honestly do not think I have peaked in my prime. I just celebrated my 46th Birthday. 🥳 I don’t think anyone can say when a woman has hit her prime because it’s different for everyone.

I am more sexually open than I have ever been in my entire lifetime. I can’t imagine how much better I will be at age 50. I have gained so much knowledge & experience over the years. Now that I am older my menu keeps expanding. I believe I get better ❤️‍🩹 the older I get.

So I don't see anything particularly surprising.  

There are many reasons why guys would ignore mediocre reviews.  

I will be makign some assumptions as I'm taking some guesses here but I think they're reasonable enough.  

 
First, mongers generally prefer looks over service. There are definitely exceptions like myself, who is relatively young (at least for this hobby) and prefer great service over anything else but for majority of people it seems like a great bod and face trumps service. Most mongers don't seem to want hardcore vigorous porn-like sex. They seem to want vanilla sex with an attractive provider.  

 
So it makes sense if the provider is rated highly in those areas people will still see her. Some mongers will read the reviews and then be willing to take the chance. Or think they can somehow influence the provider to be better. Overconfidence can always be a detriment.

I've been in those shoes  before, just on the other side. I'd read a few reviews with low f/b scores but high service scores and decided to take the plunge. Many times I was like yeha great service and I had a great time even tho f/b is weak.

And few times I was like oh hell no this is code red, as service has to be near immaculate to make up for THIS degree of unattractiveness. And surprise - it almost never is.  

 
I suspect it's similar concept in play here. Some people take a chance despite the reviews thinking their sesh can go differently.

I will also say, I may be wrong, but as someone who dabbled in bdsm community on fetlife pre covid, even tho I'm never a sub or into being one, there is a big difference between being dominated during a fantasy session, and having your time cut or being rude outside a session. I don't want to speak for everyone, but my understanding that virtually no one likes that... Role playing and being unpunctual, rude mess are two different things.

My thoughts are why not beware of someone with more than 1 negative review? I can see a one off but once a pattern is established why reward or chance it. First, it's shifting the blame to the customer. The customer in this case doesn't say that he was misled. The customer simply evaluates the product/service.

And even though the session and provider/seller may have met the customers expectation, it doesn't mean the overall product is great.

A good example is if for some unfathomable reason you go to Mcdonalds. Your expectations are extremely low, they are met, yet you can still

 
As someone who have gone out of their way to see a provider only because two people I trusted had completely different feedback, on factual stuff (ie height, cup size, whether pics are truthful ), I'd say a customer doesn't need a reason to see a provider and review her (or him if you're into that I don't judge)

The beauty of buying things for money is that you don't need a compelling reason. And we all have the right to evaluate the product or service we bought "as is".  

Even in hypothetical case I don't like pizza, I can review a pizza restaurant negatively. Now I should probably do a disclaimer and say I don't like pizza in general so I thought this restaurant may change that, but nope. So at least people reading my review know where I'm coming from.  

 
Finally last but not least is the whole "provider already has x positive or y negative reviews, she doesn't need more". Ive never known a consumer whod check reviews and say "yes I'd prefer less info than more info". More reviews is always better. More datapoints.
