The Atlanta board has had several threads recently on NCNS activities, a couple initiated by yours truly. One thread (started by someone else) discussed and suggested several methods to report a NCNS but one thing was clear: TER rules don't allow a review of a No Show - an actual meeting must take place in order to qualify for a review.
However, if a hobbyist has seen a particular provider previously and did not write a review, could a review be written which takes into account the meeting that never transpired. In other words, could a potentially 9-9 first experience be reduced to a 5-5 (for example) due to the hobbyists subsequent NCNS experience?
Is this "allowable" or even a good idea?

I don't think you should diminish a score based on a subsequent no show. Until TER allows it as a review, letting everyone know who did it on the regional board is better. eom

I am sure this was discussed on the Atlanta Board, but just to be sure - you did allow her a chance to contact you and explain, maybe even make it up to you? In my book there are many types of NCNS, and I would not like to confuse the "everyone makes a mistake" type, with the "I am too flaky or too cynical to give a shit about you" kind.

Yes, prior experiences were very good, and you make a good point about personal info. I doubt it, but who really knows?
And yes, I absolutely believe if a Provider is a chronic NCNS flake, a punitive review is warranted.

Dude why start some whore wars against you? Just send her an email saying it was bullshit she ncns and move on. Some of these girls are very punitive. What do you really gain out writing a scathing backdated low score review and putting yourself in a position to get backchannelled?
isn't this a site where men pay to get accurate information about providers so they can avoid exactly this kind of situation? I agree he'd better be pretty damn sure of himself before opening this can of worms. She could have had a good reason, or just be a well-meaning ditz. But if he is sure, he (or anybody else) should have some sense of obligation to do it. As for getting banned/harassed/backchanneled, he can create a review alias and write one that's not traceable to his handle here. Of course, if she doesn't know his handle here, even that's not necessary.
PS: I know it's easy to be a purist when you have no skin in the game, and I've never been in a situation like this, but right is right.

This said, I had a scheduled meeting a week in advance with a Favorite lady. Typically I call near the hald way point, once I'm beyond the city traffic. Fortunately for me, I called when I was ready to leave... and got no answer... ALL STOP!! I was pretty annoyed. I even had a meeting with another provider.
Eventually, I found out that her sister had died suddenly & unexpectedly. She had dropped everything & was out of state for the funeral. Then I felt like Dog Do. She was honestly distraught & wrung out the next few times I saw her.
I have not reviewed her ad she is UTR... but if I had, and then could not retract it. I would feel worse.
I would wait a bit before posting.
She still had the obligation to take five seconds to send a text or make a call to her client/s
I can't imagine standing a client up without a call no matter what was happening in my personal life, it just isn't done in the real world, well at least it isn't done by professionals in any field.
It all comes down to one thing, some people take their profession seriously and some don't. Those that don't should be outed so that we can patronize only those that do.
Be ready for the effects of posting that.
Just think if you post a provider who has NCNS on you perhaps providers will see that and think to themselves "hmm...I need to start posting every guy who NCNS on me on the national blacklists."
On the general board, I believe it was, there was a discussion about posting gentlemen who NCNS on the national blacklist and the general thought was it is wrong to post a NCNS.
Now we cant be hypocrites. I'm just saying, you NCNS on a provider do you want her to post your info on the national blacklist ? If the answer is NO then you should not post a provider for NCNS on you on a board or write a NCNS in a review.
If you just plain dont care if you get posted on boards or blacklists for that , then go right ahead.
