name changes = bait and switch?

so what do we all think about name changes that don't carry over to reviews. say for example josaphine-shmo becomes jennifer-creams (or something idk) and the reviews for josaphine-shmo are still up and being added to and a new review page comes up for jennifer-creams....

should they not be put together since josaphine-shmo has 30+ reviews (several less than stellar) and now she is fronting as having only good reviews.... isn't that bait and switch? or am i confused... to my knowledge there was no reason for the name change (and i have seen other forums where josaphine is still called josaphine - not her name, just a made up example).

so guys, gals... whats the thought on this?
is she running from bad reviews?
is she reinventing herself to boost business...?
is she trying to bait and switch?

i just am concerned coz i don't think anyone will be happy knowing someone isn't who they are claiming to be... especially if they found out later and read those not great reviews... if i were a hobbyist i would feel like an idiot, but like i said, i don't know what the protocol is and i don't know why someone changes a name (other than safety, trying to run from bad reviews or ???). some insight anyone? :) thanks

this is just something i was thinking of... no drama, just curious. thanks mila

but there could be at least one legitimate reason to change names and not link all reviews.

Once I met a massage gal, but she wanted to start over as a GFE provider, so she changed her name and made a new website.  Since the old reviews did not amplify on her new product, I think there was no attempt to deceive on her part.

There's a lady who has gone through many names and has less than stellar reviews..She just changed her name again but I have seen her pictures and face with so many names everywhere. Sad part is she has a new review on Escorts from someone who knows her real name and gave her a great review once more. So another hobbiest is setting others up or is it just his point of view how wonderful she is. Time will tell when she gets her first review here on her new name.

Now there are times when a ladies safety is involved and she needs to start over. Carrying baggage may let danger follow her. It's hard to tell what the real story is but I for one would not want to put anyone in harms way if she is really trying to keep herself safe and not hide few bad reviews.

It's funny how often the first review often reads very different than later reviews.

You and I are from the same City and I have seen your listings. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting you, I have made a conscious effort to do so in 2011. Now onto your topic:

In fact, some of the top providers from our own enclave have been in the industry and also on TER for much longer than their "new" monikers show. Name changes happen for many reasons and TER may even know about it. If the Provider claims that there is a legal issue, stalking issue, etc, TER will make the old records vanish.

I do not wish to engage in naming names or finger pointing, but I have seen some honest reviews pulled recently, just because it made the lofty numbers drop from 10s! Is the system perfect? No! Is it fair to both Providers/Hobbyists? Meh!

Will be in contact soon, CS~
