You are putting money for gifts in her hands....I personally don't do it but I hear this is the time of YEAR providers start contacting you! lol Don't lose sleep over it. If anything follow that e-mail with something like:  

True or you might want to do something different for a change. I agree not everyone celebrates it, but in NYC in my experience (This being my first x-mas) a lot of people are away. It goes both ways. I have referred a lot of clients to providers I know for a fact are hosting

I don't think it a terrible thing. She probably knows you meant well. If she is available for a visit, I'm sure she will let you know...

Don't worry about it! I'm definitely working through the holidays and the more requests, the better!  

If she did, and you ignored it, I would think that would cause some upset.

You're being a bit hard on yourself.  It's not as though you sent her 10 texts on Christmas Day asking where she's at.

I receive a lot of Merry Christmas emails from clients. It's nice to hear from them.

If she is not available she can say so. No need to get bent out of shape. I had a reg ask to see me on Christmas day and I just said "as much as I would love to, I have other plans"...end of story.

I am an atheist and I do not celebrate Xmas at all. I just have some fun things to do with fellow non believers.

...but the opposite.

Christmas is a non event for me, actually more of an inconvenience than anything else. I am not religious at all, I don't have kids, and I really could care less about Christmas. That said, I do realize it is very important to a lot of people and I have better things to do than shit on their parade.

She might have other things going on so if you do not hear from her as quickly as normal I am sure you understand why.  I would refrain from contacting her again till the 26-27th though if you have not heard back by then.  The panicked I haven't heard from you on a holiday do tend to leave a bad taste in many ladies mouth since that presumes that we do not have a life outside of this.

There is 3 possible outcomes. She'll reply that she is available. She'll reply that she is not available. Or she won't reply. There is certainly no harm in asking from your end. Many providers do work on holidays and through the holidays. You are not even asking for a date on Christmas day. You gave her a 2 week window!

If it wasn't a text to the phone. I don't see what the big deal is. I've owned my own business and if you don' t want to read or respond to emails on down time, you just don't. If you aren't working the season, you say , "sorry I am taking a break for myself."

I was just being paranoid because I know how much I hate it when my clients, co-workers or anyone associated with work emails me during the holidays for anything work-related. It's my time to unwind.
