Is "normal" rare in this business?

I spent a very nice, if unadventurous, hour with my favorite girl last night...she's a certified massage therapist in addition to her other services and we always spend 10 it 15 minutes on a massage before getting down to the fun stuff. During the massage we talk about whatever's going on with our lives or plans for the holidays or anything else that comes to mind...

She texted me last night as I was driving home, saying that she always has fun with me, I'm the most normal friend she's made and how nice it was to see me...

That's the first time she's done that, but not the first time I've received texts like that after a date...it's always very gratifying to me to know that the girl I was with felt good enough about our time together to go through the trouble if telling me that...

Is being a nice, normal guy really that rare?

but I would have qualms about it as I often equate normal with the ultimate sin:  boring.

I have always considered my normalness a drawback, and I think part of my attraction to the hobby is wanting to get away from that label.

As for the gals I meet in the hobby, they are not normal at all, and I like it like that.

Which leads me to think of the moldy oldie, but goldy

Here's one reason why I fear I am boring:

My biggest thrill of most weekdays is looking forward to completing the crossword puzzle in the paper.

I also make my bed every day.

Nobody thinks they are boring or dumb, but it's when others do that makes it so. I doubt she meant you were boring. You just weren't very exciting.  
Everyone thinks they are pretty good at sex too, but we all have experienced the lousy lay, some of us have ever paid for the privilege.

True but in OP's case it is a nice feeling when a "regular" follows up with a text or email like that.  Obviously she thought he was normal enough after the first date to see him again :-)

When I was into FBSM with a gal here from East Bay.  Her massage was very good and her sensual massage was off the charts. She retired about 3 years ago but I saw her for almost 4 years before that, and at least once a month on average.    We become close, so close that she offered everything in RBGFE. I liked it.  And our encounters were open but covered FS.  I miss her dearly

I never think about her other clients...I work within her set ground rules, make sure she gets off before me, and I treat her like a person and not just a cum receptacle...

If that's normal or even boring the I plead guilty as charged...
