I doubt that too many guys that give 7/7s to hot girls that are used to getting 9's and 10's are going to use their handle for screening.  Regarding lower scores I have noticed that a few of the ladies that I previously scored high (9/9, 10/9 or 10/10) if I were to score them based on my most recent visit that I might give some of them an 8/8 or 7/7.  It seems like more of the ladies are getting entitled or put on some weight or let themselves go or some combination of a few things.  I have been finding more and more that ladies that previously rocked my world seem to either not really do it for me anymore or seem to assume that they have already won me over and have to do little more than show up.  I agree that there are some ladies with great pics and no reviews that are awesome.  Many of those ladies once had stellar reviews but no longer need reviews because they have an established client base.

I think that there is a definite trend towards keeping the good ones to yourself. The entire site that attempts to map out AMPs has almost lost all of its value due to that kind of overindulged self interest.  

 
I also think that the attitudes of our providers have taken a beating this past year. And, of course that impacts the quality of their services.  

 
I also suspect, but can’t prove, that there has been a trend amongst mongers to move away from longer appointments and tipping. That suspicion is based on an increase in threads on that topic and a few comments from girls I regularly see. They used to just smile sweetly and say thank you when/if I tipped. Now there’s this look of relief and comments having to do with me being “kind”.  

 
Add the stress of this past year to the stress of having not just fewer appointments because guys aren’t getting out as much. But when they do get out, at least some of them are less generous than they used to be. Or the guys who used to tip more often are the ones still getting out less.

I’ve been somewhat following the reviews of a certain Maryland provider as her scores have been very inflated as of late.  I use her profile as one of the ones I refer to when I’m vetting a provider and looking for names of hobbyists who I trust or don’t to see if they have seen who I’m researching.  Because some of us have some overlap in who we have seen, and based on what I saw and experienced with said Maryland provider, it helps me to determine what to believe.

I know for a fact that this provider has only gotten sloppier during the pandemic, obviously got older (she is 5-9 years older than her posted age of 47-51 depending where you look, and she wasn’t that much of a looker when she was younger.   Where she was normally getting 5-7’s in looks when she was younger and slimmer, she now regularly gets 7-9’s in looks which there is no way this is accurate.  Some of the reviewers went so far as to give her high scores in looks while giving lower scores to girls who are far more attractive, 60-80 lbs lighter, and 20-30 years younger.  This surprised me at times as I used to consider these guys as reliable sources of info.  This occurred far too many times for it to be a coincidence or matter of someone being more attracted to much older women.

Granted, a number of these reviews are the first and only review from that particular handle, but I have to chalk this up to some deals for more time or BB in exchange for good scores for some of the veteran hobbyists on here who definitely put up some extremely exaggerated reviews.

It’s getting closer to the point where reviews barely matter, and going with an unreviewed provider is no more risky than believing a majority of the reviews here.

Maybe it's unfair to compare 35+ y/o high-volume Bay Area providers to what's currently available in other (legal) markets  -- but that's life ..

I, myself try to write honest reviews that will give my fellow mongers who are spending their hard-earned money, on what to expect.  If it's a good thing .. I point it out..  

A lady who is an 8+ in looks is typically not going to be advertising as a full service escort today .. they can make adequate money other ways ..

There are service queens, and their get their recognition... for example, it's difficult to book Jade or Yuffie without some advance planning...

And, ladies grow on  you... I've had the experience several times, where a lady with a face only her mom could love, grew on me where I became a regular, as the chemistry was good...

The "keeping the good ones for themselves" kind of thought is something that imo is way more prevalent in the amp storefront world, not so much the escort world.

 
There (storefront amp) you have the dangers of the girl changing her name immediately or drawing jealousy from her fellow rotation girls when all the guys specifically ask for her.

 
I don't think anyone gains or loses much by providing a review with two 7s and generic text. Unless the review is stating a drastically different experience and urging people to forego a trip, it probably does not make enough impact. And in the end, it could be a matter of different experiences anyway.

 
Now, the girl NOT getting reviews at all. Usually it's an outlier because most want to get their names out. Many mongers have backchannel groups in which things do get discussed. So if those groups are quiet as well, then I would take Occam's razor and say that people are just more cautious of toftt in today's climate.
