I was reading a review recently and the player said he’d been ripped off when the lady demanded up charges for unspecified services. Seems all she said was “We’ll have lots of fun”. My mind flashed back to the bad old days before reviews, when you took your chances on ads from the yellow pages or the back of the local free newspaper in a big city.
That phrase is death to me now. It’s right up there with “I left the condoms/toy/lube/heels/favorite water bottle in the car”. At that point, you can hear the flushing sound as your money disappears forever. I’m sure there are new phrases that signal defeat. I hope to learn them BEFORE I hear the trap slam shut.
I tend to pay attention to the details of the ad. If a provider describes an hour long session as a "brief encounter" or something along those lines then I am apprehensive. 500/600 or 700 bucks for a "brief encounter" or a "meet and greet" doesn't lend me to believe it would be worth it for me.

For a provider like that, I would never find out about her "upsell" because there would never be a next time for me. They've already lost my repeat business before the first session is even over. Their deceptive practices would be known in my review of them.
Sounds to me that you are a person easily duped. There are a wealth of resources here to help you with what you are trying to achieve. I just did a quick search for what you're complaining you were deprived of which only resulted in a bus full of women reviewed in the last week who could've accommodated you.
