Some ladies with stellar reputations change their names for a variety of reasons.  Some do it as a result of increased LE heat; some do it because they feel burdened by their persona (whether or not it earns stellar reviews) and desire a fresh start.

I agree with you that providers who change their names as an attempt to escape a poor reputation are behaving wrongly.  How do we control that, though?  The ONLY way we can even try to keep a lid on this is for hobbyists to share as much information as possible with one another on their local boards.  Such scams can easily be exposed and quashed in this way.

I don't see anything wrong with a provider who operates two businesses, independent of one another, with different names.  Eventually it will become clear that they are the same person.  That said, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me... but, that's just me!!

I know several girls who do this. One in fact has three separate names and web sites. One for escorting, one for S&M and one for FBSM. There is nothing wrong with keeping your various enterprises separate. Doing so is not an attempt at deception.

It's bullshit, but many providers do it. This biz is sleazy.

We try to sugarcoat a lot of garbage on these boards, but at the end of the day there's a lot of BS & deception in this hobby.

One I have used for over 30 years and has been published all over the country. My Haley persona was birthed from AOL screen names. Both offer the same services but I did not want to confuse these two names and was ready to depart on a much more professional style. Although I have seen pictures of me on covers of magazines taken 20 years ago.

Yes, I run into people who had the pleasure of meeting me so many years ago. I have never had a problem with anyone and many are surprised to see I did remember them.

As long as someone is not trying to rip you off or pull a fast one I see no problem.

By the way all you have to do is change your contact info on TER and your lost in the pages of time.

To me it makes sense to use different names for different businesses. The different businesses have diferent services & different fee schedules.  It might help keep them straight.  So long as it is not used to deceive or escape from poor reputation.  This would not upset me if I discovered it.  
I have known ladies who renamed themselves when they decided to change the character of their business, & leave the other behind.
It's all good.
