Later I became a TER moderator and wasn't allowed to write reviews, but pretty much I am just not a guy who likes to tell every explicit detail about my intimate time with women. I don't get off on reading such reviews, and I rarely read any reviews in their entirety, usually I just skim them for the parts they tell my her menu and her overall attitude. I have never had any desire to write any letters to Penthouse and I don't intend on writing any reviews that read that way either.
If it were possible to write a review (and get it approved) that simply stated whether the pics were real and accurate, whether I enjoyed myself and even a checklist of menu items, I might be convinced to begin writing reviews, but the chances of TER changing their entire review system just to suit me are rather remote, so I guess I will stick to contributing in other ways, like giving advice on the Newbie and TER boards.
I’ve seen a few TER ads now, in different regions, for ladies who either have a flat-out no review policy, or websites where they talk about how much they hate review culture. My question is, why even advertise here on TER if they hate it so much? Surely there are no shortage of venues to advertise, including twitter, so why look for clients here that you ostensibly don’t want?
Just a thought
Do not confuse hating reviews with hating envelopes. Businesses advertise in well read or listened to media if it brings them business, even if they do not like the editorials.
Send in a problem report.
As to your question, why do they advertise on TER? Duh, free advertising.
on TER told me verbally she had a "no review" policy, I simply would not honor it. If they want the benefit of the exposure they get from TER, then like it or not, they must abide by TER rules, IMO.
If she is "as advertised" and shows you a great time, it's fair to respect her wishes, but if she gives a subpar performance, and/or shows up twenty years older or forty pounds heavier, then all bets are off and she no longer has any right to ask the the truth about her be withheld.
I don't even write reviews, but i would never agree to NOT write a review about a bad session even if I had no intention of writing one in the first place. Can you just imagine a person in any other service industry demanding that you keep your mouth shut if you feel like you got lousy service from them??? lmao
Out of curiosity, why do you not write reviews?

Fair enough..... It does seem odd to me that you would participate in a review site and not review. I would have a greater understanding of your position if you were merely a lurker. Your opinions and thoughts on the hobby in general would carry a lot more weight if it were evident that you really do participate in the hobby, I'm not doubting you at all, just making an observation. But to each his own
If you do have any doubts however, just make a post on the Atlanta board asking how many people actually know me. I haven't live in Atlanta for many years, but I am confident that enough people, guys and gals alike, will vouch for me to remove ANY doubts you might have about my "hobby chops"
BTW you caught me in a pretty good mood today, my normal response would be a simple "Go Fuck Yourself" as any of the many people here who know me will be more than happy to tell you. lol
No reason to tell me that..... I do not doubt you at all, just an observation..... I'll make sure to keep my observations to myself next time lol. I thought that was the purpose of the board but maybe not
The beauty about the internet is that everything I have ever said here over the last 14 years, even the real stupid shit, is still here for all to see. So if you have doubts, just ask the board. My home board is the same as yours, so make a post. "Does anyone actually know that fucking asshole GaGambler???" and see what kind of responses you get, pretty easy solution, wouldn't you agree?
Surprise you, it really does not matter to me whether you fucked everyone in Atlanta or no one in Atlanta, I really don't care. You obviously have a lot of information about the hobby and I was just curious why you didn't write reviews and shared some of my thoughts.... no reason to get defensive, I'm not challenging you
...that if you had a no- review policy you could not be a member of TER. I’ve had both. Not sure when the policy changed...
Someone just has to bring the issue to the attention of TER admin and the provider will be booted off. She would need to post this "policy" herself either in a forum, ad, or her website. Hearsay doesn't count.
about how they hate TER. So when asked why they still post pics, ads, and discussion group comments here even though they hate it, the response was for "exposure". I guess any exposure, even though on a site they find undesirable, is better than none.
Whether they like reviews or not, they know a lot of men refer to this site. They still need exposure and remember, not ALL TER members/VIP's always write reviews as some want to stay UTR. There are thousands of men that patronize this site and it is a great way to see what talent is available. More reliable than any other site imo.
Out of all the websites related to this industry, TER is ranked the highest by web traffic globally. So, of course it's excellent for exposure. Most of my clients found me via TER. They definitely use this site to see what's up...
The former would involve a provider refusing to see someone if they wrote a review of her, or perhaps not seeing someone if they had any reviews. (This assumes that they can connect the reviewer's handle to their RL name of course, which is tenuous.) Any such provider ought to have their reviews removed, and in fact can (and often do) request same.
The latter simply means that they would prefer not to have reviews, but they don't get all upset about it. I see of few gals who fall into that category, and I honor their requests.
When I reach out to a potential playmate or she reaches out to me, I will ALWAYS ask her to look over my reviews. It gives her an idea as to what I like and whether she thinks we might be a good fit. If I've already done my research on her, I have a pretty good idea as to that.
Either way, she knows that I write reviews (generally detailed as to activities) and if she's not comfortable with that, then we don't meet. If she tells me up front that she doesn't want a review, we don't meet.
Should I choose to write a review, that choice is mine -- but she knows that going into it. It's part of the informed consent inherent in a good session.
