We want to have an image of class and quality.  Any color suggestions from you men out there?  We want to appeal, of course, to all you wonderful classy guys who write on TER.

Navy/white?  No pink or purple as everyone does that.  No red as too common.
Green/white background?  Maybe some footballs on it?  Just an idea.

Burgundy / Beige is nice too, a more conservative look.

are any complementary soft colors.  But more importantly, honest and accurate pictures and descriptions of your girls and services.  It amazes me how many agencies post stock pix of girls from around the net, block their faces (which I can respect) and the send someone else that bares any slight resemblance tot he girl that is advertised.  This happens all to often, IMHO.

you have got to be kidding?  How often does this happen?  And how STUPID do these agencies think you men are?  No, the office would not do that here.  Thanks for your input, tho.

I was speaking generally of my experiences with agencies.  I don't even know which agency you are, and I apologize if I hit a nerve, but the truth is that this happens all to frequently.  Moreover, a provider told me, not 2 hours ago, that one of her very excellent reviews, when she worked for an agency, was written by one of the owners, and she never saw him for anything other than to settle up accounts at the end of a session.  It's things like this that mar reputations and stereotype certain providers.  On the other side of the coin, I can think of one agency that consistently provides quality service, and I have no trouble at all calling them when in their town.

I have created thousands of Web pages professionally and spent countless hours studying research on what makes good and bad Web sites. In general, color doesn't matter as long as it's not ugly. What draws people to Web pages is accurate and useful content. That's where your effort should go. Hope this helps.

There are lots of sites where you can purchase website templates pretty cheap.

http://www.frontpageworld.com/frontpagetools/webtemplates.htm
http://www.101webtemplate.com/
http://www.webmastertoolscentral.com/web_design/templates.html

Also, there are sites where you can get website design tips and articles.  This one is my personal favorite:

You might want to pay a visit to your local bookstore as in the art departent they have books specifically on color combinations complete with swatches to show you how they will look together.

You may not want to purchase the book if this is a one time only thing (although they are not expensive either) but you can bring a pen and paper with you and write down the color numbers from the book. The "RGB values" is what you want for the web. I have several and find them valuable resources. There are color combinations that look great together that you would not ordinarlily think of. Some books even have them broken down into catagories such as rich, earthly, fashion, etc, etc.

Hope this helps,

-Glen

These rip-off agencies are amuck (can you be “amuck?” Or do you have to be “running amuck?”) Even the supposedly brightest of the bright client, here on TER get taken by these ROBs, daily. Then they write reviews about them. Invariable the review involves the girl getting the money. Bait & switch shouldn’t work. Gentlemen shouldn’t get taken like this, they should be smarter, bolder, and more savy… But they’re not. So if you want to make lots of money in the short-term; post all kinds of beautiful fake pics and hire lots and lots of girls and scary looking drivers to just go door to door taking money from frightened little boys, who are too scared that they’ll get arrested or discovered that they won’t do a damn thing about it.

If you want to build a respectable, long-standing business, create lots of happy, return customers and rake in a fortune in the long term, with your conscience intact: Use real pics, hire girls who like people and love sex, and teach them the fun and value of offering GFE. (especially if you’re setting up in SF – I’ll be happy to help with the lesson plans: seriously, this isn’t an innuendo)

Oh, and use black and white, with just a few gold or silver highlights here and there. Nobody cares what the Web site looks like, they’re there to see the pictures. The site is nothing more than a frame. Get guys to pictures fast with a stark design in black and white. The quicker they get to the pics, the quicker they make the call, the quicker you collect your money. Look at all the biggies – cityvibe, erosguide, exotics – they’re all black and white, one single color highlight with pictures of beautiful ladies.

In this case, the most important content are the pictures and the phone numbers. Get people to them in a fast, well organized way.

I gave some assistance to my ATF when she was designing a new site (now gone thanks to TBD issue) and we got into quite a thing over color.

I really didn't pay much attention to it as a consumer.  I think that we tend to hit the net running: click to the link, click on the pics, click on the rate, and make a coin toss decision as to whether the gal on the site is a possibility for us.

But when I looked at the issue of coming back to the site I did see the value of the "look" of the site just like anything esle in advertising.

She had some sport interest type photos for which she had chosen bold colors.  They clashed with her outfit so she had them changed and the result was very much easier to look at and so I tended to study her pic just a bit longer.

She similarly had picked a color for the background of some pic of her in a sun dress that matched the dress.  The result was that the dress sort of dissappeared in blending in to the background which had words over it.  A change to a complementary color showed off her figure much nicer.

And the last two sets of pics which had the most amazing impact were her nude shots and her out-on-the -town shots.  The nudes were done over a pale aquamarine color which was soft and inviting and lead the eye right to her.  The classy shots were done over the sort of colors you find in the lobby of a very high old world hotel like the Fairmont in San Francisco.  She was in a black cocktail dress well lighted and all the backgorunds were dark colors of navy, mauve etc. with gold trim to give the effect of being at an event worthy of the big time spender.

I thought the sight was stunning.

review of this lady's website makes me salivate--which is something 'cause I'm a straight woman!!!  Joking aside, it sounds fantastic.  You have given me some great ideas--all of you have.  You are the 3rd man to suggest a teal or aquamarine color.  I'm beginning to see a pattern here...hmmmm.

Yes the site looks great with those colors especially against skin tones (she is caucasion, not sure how it would look with other fine ladies).  We did jocky with the darkness and intensity of the color and found medium to high intensity with very low color saturation looked best.  That is with the nice aquamarine color being a fairly pastel sort of color, we cranked up the amount of color then washed it back with white to that it was very visable as color but not overbearing for a background.

Wish I could get you a sample, glead to help.

Burgandy/Beige suggested.
Now White/Black suggested by you.
Are you guys reading my mind or what????
There is only one other color I chose.  God, I'm hoping you don't guess it so I can sleep at night.  This is eeeeearie!!!!
And, no, it is not teal/aquamarine--although that was a hot choice.

I was going to go and photograph naked women today but this discussion of colors got me distracted and I didn't go. After reading the beige - blue - aqua - teal voting and looking at all the links divamissx and others provided. I found myself challenged to have a bit of fun. I started off with an Orange background, because that's a non-popular color right now and then found a picture of a flower with some orange in it to "legitimize" the choice. I then invented a name for my fictional lady and used purple, because someone said that was no good. I also chose Flash because someone else had said a week or two ago how much they hated it.

I kinda liked the result... so much so that I've decided to "publish" it for your critique.  I'm curious about the user interface too. How hard was it to figure out how to work the site?

It feels like a medical advertisement for some kind of feminine hygiene product.  But it's interesting that you took the time to experiment with the colors.

Curious, as a man I had an entirely different reaction to the page. I think its great and very inviting.

In regard to navigation, i'd go with version I, but it should open to the Welcome page, with the W/Welcome lit up in the rollover state until the visitor rolls over another letter. I found myself trying to read WDGRC, my suggestion might solve that problem, as well as direct a person to the navigation.

I added the 2nd version only after reading Divamissx's view. I assumed taht she didn't figure out the navigation and thought it was only one page. That was specifically my question when I asked about the user interface. I really wondered if anyone would see those glaring orange thingies and say to themselves.. "What the F** are those?" and point at 'm with their mouse. I was guessing that when they lit up and had a word leapt out, "ahhha" would occur.

I really like the super clean look not cluttered up with words, but I have to agree that with only a flower and a picture, the "clean fresh" look could be mistaken for a feminine hygiene reminder. Not surprisingly, I only look at the nekkid wimmin in those product ads. 8-)

Thanks for the feed back... both of you.
