What advise have you given to a provider?

I have providers tell me they got legal advice, tax tips and many had their website started by hobbiests. I've provided knowledge on how to start a business and one lady asked me to help her on her statistics homework.  

What questions have you been asked by providers to help them or you just giving them tips on how to ....

Hell, I ain't no one to give anyone else advise, unless it be in my Science

And most folks have never heard of my Science, so I don't suppose a provider would request, need or even understand advise I could give.

As far as legal, marketing or financial advise, I hire other people to handle that shit for me, so the best I could do is give her my "guy's" name.

To be clear though, I should hope most providers are smart enough to solicite advise from professionals and not from some guy who has NO skin in the game.

If you need your plumbing fixed, hire a Plumber. If you need your car fixed, bring it to a Mechanic. For my ex's benefit, if you need the spare room painted to convert it to an office, hire a fucking painter, sure as hell don't ask me (that's just a fight waiting to happen).

If you need financial advise, hire someone who does that for a living. If you need legal advise, hire a lawyer, etc.

I have gotten several ladies onto p411, and some onto TER.

I have helped some navigate TER and other hobby sites and use it better. I have suggested websites and improvements to existing websites. Helped with ads and where to place ads. Helped take some weird provider math out of some rates, Written some text for some, taken pics of some ladies that were later used in ads and websites, and some other mentoring in provider related stuff.  

Outside of this biz, I have written letters of reference for "real" jobs, helped with personal things, loaned (given on most occasions as I rarely get paid back-but a few times paid back with interest) money, given rides to and from the airport, stored personal items, stored a car for 6 months, shipped said car to another location, and helped a gal get out of this biz, and through rehab, and start a new life.

Do you know exactly how I feel about painting? Because my ex wife sure got it when I told her to paint the spare room by herself, or hire a fucking painter. There was a fight about my assumed laziness, but it was much better than the fight which would have occurred "when" she told me I was painting wrong.

Divorce is so expensive, because it's worth it.

Workout Advice

I keep myself in pretty good shape and have had a couple providers ask what I do. I tell them my specific workouts and food I eat. Not sure if they've ever heeded my advice though.

About the only advice I have offered was to be sure they pay . . .

Uncle Sam his (fair) share. Al Capone was taken down in the 1920's for tax evasion even though he was involved in multiple illegal businesses in Chicago, including bootlegging, prostitution, illegal gambling, etc.

I did have one provider I saw about 5 years ago tell me that she reports all the $20's she gets. But if most hobbyists are like me, they pay with larger bills.

I walked out on an escort...

.. mid session after she wanted me to shower again after round one. Showering upon arrival wasn't good enough for her. When I arrived she was on her phone. When I got out of the shower she was still on her phone. When I got out of the second shower more phone still. No kissing. Not even LFK. Covered BJ. A non entity in the sack.

What the hell do think got me there!  

Apparently she took my advice. She now has some very good reviews and DFK and BBBJ are on the menu.  

Now before you all tell me I got what I deserved by seeing an unreviewed escort let me tell you why I saw her. In our correspondence she mentioned that she was friends with an escort I saw last year who was sensational. I asked her to read my review of her friend and let me know if she will provide the same services as her friend. Her response - "I am all yours!" So I was lied to.

Haha. Just kidding. Good for you for TOFTT. I always say if nobody sees unreviewed ladies, there would be no reviewed ladies!
Sounds like you gave her some good pointers too, and helped her to become a better provider. You never mentioned if you ever saw her again, so I assume you didn't, but it would be interesting if you did, to see first hand how her service improved, and if she did anything special to "makeup" for the first session.  

Now for my pedantic tendencies:
1) You said you would have given her a zero for performance. That's not possible on TER. The lowest score is 1, and that is reserved for total ripoffs. She didn't rip you off, so the lowest score you could have given is a 2 (I should have stayed home).

2) You said you told her about TER and reviews after your session. In a later part of your post you said you told her to read your review of her friend before your session.

OK, just busting your chops here. Carry on. :

There is more to the story!

She actually called me later that day and I enlightened her further. She felt so bad she offered me my money back. I said that was not necessary. Then she offered me a free session. I waited until after Christmas to set up an appt. She said that before she sees me I have to write her an excellent review. I told her to go fuck herself.  

#2 is not inconsistent. Just because she read a review doesn't mean she knows how they work. I explained the scoring system to her and pointed out that with no DFK,BBBJ, Greek or really bi  she wasn't going to get very high performance scores and not because those are my preferences but because those are TER rules.

My experience has been that...

there is an inverse likelihood between someone asking for advice and their taking that advice.  

So I try to shy away from doing so.  

On the other hand, providers offer me lots of advice, mostly unsolicited, which I occasionally accept and use.  

The best advice for just about anyone in this hobby is: Don't talk about other people.
