When you write like someone worth talking to, "most" of us will treat you that way. Capitalizing a handful of words for emphasis is a perfectly acceptable of expressing yourself, MUCH better than your earlier posts.

Some areas will snap back before you know it (NYC, LA, SFO, MIA, etc.). Others will seem like it takes friggin' forever to make up any ground. But, as the G-Meister said, there has always been plenty of turnover in the provider community. Another significant factor, IMHO, is what economists would call "ease of entry" into the industry. Some businesses are just easier to set up and operate than others. And, as much as people on this board love to trash BP, it was an excellent vehicle for new providers to break into the biz. Then (for the good ones), as they gained knowledge, experience, and built their reputation and client-base, they would move up to higher-end, or their own, sites and raise prices appropriately. Another path for new providers to gain experience and confidence is to start with an agency. But there are a limited number of those and some of them aren't very good which makes them less than ideal as a launching pad. Bottom-line, TER helps a lot for clients and probably also for established providers to reclaim and increase their business. But I think what's still missing is an ad site with a massive footprint like BP had (and CL in its day). And of course the problems with BP are well known but a new site would hopefully avoid the bad and use the good. What was good (I can hear the skeptical questions now)? For one thing, the way the site handled searches and subdividing areas was very efficient, IMHO. In NYC I could see in about 2 mins who was advertising on the LES, UWS, Midtown E&W, FiDi, etc. And I could do it for both escorts and sensual massage. Most of the search functionality with current ad sites is absolute crap. Also, new ads went to the top of the page and pushed down the old. If you go to PD or Slixa, just to cite a couple of examples, there are a LOT of ads where the provider hasn't been in your city for months but you can't tell until you open the ad. The current pathetic and fragmented advertising situation needs to improve in order for new providers to be able to enter the marketplace as easily as before. Just my .02 worth. p.s. I also second what the G-Meister said about not holding a grudge and moving forward with productive discussion.

I find it annoying to see the overwhelming amount of all caps, it’s understandable when you want to emphasize but it’s also considered yelling. And TER has a policy regarding posts using all caps, in the subject line and if the body of content is overwhelming with all caps. Obviously either the new management doesn’t care or you haven’t violated that policy or your posts would be denied or deleted.

If we are talking about higher end escorts in their 20's and 30's, I think the days of them coming back in any significant numbers is gone forever, sadly. They had two years to find other money generating vehicles (think twitter).  

I've seen provider posts in various forums that X number of followers and contacts via social media don't necessarily translate into booked sessions and cash in the bank. Sounds like they truly believe they know what they are talking about.  While I am sure they are simply expressing an opinion based upon their own personal experience.  It is anyone's guess just how relevant that personal experience is.

There are already some members I knew before that have come back.  During the downtime, they would just try to login a couple times a month to see if anything changed, and in December, they all got lucky.  A lot of the members that were aware that VPN would let you login saw the lack of activity here and decided not to participate.

It should go without saying that if you kept contact with your personal favorites, and are COMPLETELY satisfied with your "roster," then, yes, the "shutdown" of "T.E.R." should not have affected you in the SLIGHTEST.
Speaking for myself (and perhaps others), one of the MAIN reasons I continue to "hobby" so many years after my "initiation" into the "life" is the "VARIETY" it affords me, which has consisted MOSTLY of many POSITIVE "interactions."  
One way to INSURE that an "interaction" with a new "pro" is positive is to do research, which, aside from limited "word of mouth," takes the form of REVIEWS on a site such as this.
