In golf they're awesome. *Thanks to a specific someone for that, btw lol*
But I wouldn't admit to the lady that it's a mulligan date. Otherwise the whole time she'll most likely worry about making it up, what if she screws up again, etc. etc. Just me.I'm sure we've all had those dates with certain providers or clients that were fantastic- mutual attraction, great chemistry, both on top of our game, etc... and everything comes together just perfectly.
But have you ever had that date where everything seemed to be present, but for maybe one small thing, something out of synch... and you leave feeling like "That could have been so much better, we need a do-over".
If so, when you take the Mulligan, is it worth it? Your experience?
Would love to hear perspective from both guys and gals on this one, so please chime in

Just me.
I'd never mention it as a Mulligan date!
Just a situation where we had great chemistry but I think we were both just a little off.. stress, tired, etc..
And yes, I'm sure enough that it wasn't a 1-sided attraction issue.
the last date(4th) was a complete dud. She was going through the motions. The "chemistry " we had was gone. (Well, it turns out it was never really there.) It changed my perspective on the hobby.
Did not even want a do -over with her.
I'm on a one and done mode for the time being.
All the notes were hit but the song just didn't make the top 40. Now I don't claim to be right or even particularly insightful, but in my personal experience, P4P or otherwise, two people either have sexual chemistry or they don't. Or maybe another way to put it is, a truly great provider can make the session great whether chemistry is there or not, but when the chemistry is there her job is a lot easier. And following the same logic an average, or maybe new, provider may not be able to successfuly mask incompatibility, hence mixed experiences and maybe mixed (not horrible) reviews. Bottom line: no mulligans for me because I don't believe this kind of thing is fixable, but I'm always courteous, i.e. I don't give voice to it unless mistreated; I just don't see the point in acting otherwise. My $0.02 anyway.
interesting about a provider masking incompatibility. would she put up with a so-so client to keep his business? Most of the time they have to pretend anyway right?
I try to treat my so-so clients every bit as well as the ones I truly enjoy seeing because their money is all the same color and my responsibility to them is the same regardless what I think of them personally, but it's definitely harder to remain professional with the a-holes and I wasn't as good at it right out of college. So I'm just extrapolating from my own experience but I don't know why it should be any different.
Enjoy the time you have Planet Earth and be happy.
The most typical, at least for my regulars, is one that starts out fairly high (Or else I'd probably not even go back.) then goes up by several notches for the next few visits, then declines a bit until a comfortable plateau is established.
But there is also the start high that then goes downhill fast, the start high that crashes, then swings way back up again, then crashes, like a yo-yo.
I think that if scientists were asked to study all the permutations and draw some scientifically valid deductions from the data, they would give up and claim the study is a fool's errand.
They'd be right, too.
I think you need to have two things in order to seriously consider a mulligan in that kind of case:
1. Be able to put your finger on what was out of synch. If it is just a vague feeling then it's hard to take steps so it doesn't happen just the same the next time.
2. Be able to change it if it was just you, or more likely, feel comfortable enough to talk about it if it was her or both of you.
When both have applied, yes, it was usually well worth the second try. But just hoping things will be different--not so much.
