If she is already an ovo-lacto vegetarian, she is still vegan with a slight extension to ovo-lacto-spermo .

Some vegan's are motivated by religion, others by environmentalism, others by health concerns, others by who knows what.  If she is an enviro-vegan, it is actually beneficial to the environment to make use of a renewable resource AND that is actually beneficial to the donor AND does not kill or harm any other animals or plants.
