I kind of prefer it that way as sometimes I don't want to know. But that's just me. Otherwise it's like a break up, and you don't really have to do that here.

In fact...What you think about and how you think of yourself defines who you are.  

You choose to think of yourself as a hobbyist, while most of the rest of us choose to think of ourselves as whore mongers.

To each his own...  

And...I doubt she thinks about the stop in communications...probably never notices depending on how busy she is.

If they've just been a shit client to me I tell them so.

If they develop hygiene/personal care issues or something else that makes me uncomfortable I just let it fade by being conveniently busy.  
No one needs to get their feelings hurt.

What's the difference between those hobbies and THIS hobby?  simply that in this hobby, you interact with people.... I suspect you should tell them, but look who is talking, I don't - not proud of that, but I don't.  the best way, I suspect, is to just say, I've moved on for as you know, one part of the escort seeiing hobby is we get variety, lots and lots of variety - and that is why I hobby....  

Not proud of that fact, but there it is.
