I prefer FC over the male condom in my recent experiences there are a few guys this is their preference.
Others have not experienced them and are curious and some do not like it.
A couple of guys had never heard of them.

Have only experienced it twice. A fellow player once described it as shtupping inside a Glad sandwich bag. Sounds harsh I know, but that was my experience too. Quite unpleasant.  

And the look is a turnoff. I happen to think labia are beautiful and I don’t like looking down and seeing plastic wrapping partially covering my momentary lady’s privates.

I’ll stick with Mr. Trojan if it’s all the same to the lady.

As an older gent found issues with regular being applied and maintaining .
With the FC when you are locked she is loaded . First introduced to them many years ago.  
Feels a lot more sensitive .

I think a lot of gents have moved on from condoms to BBFS, so no, they are not using female condoms.  Lol  
I am one that is, but the installation is often a distraction when moving from DATY to intercourse, so I still use male condoms as well with the ladies that are not very experienced with FC's.  

... especially in a threesome. I can move back and forth with ease...

I much prefer a FC to a traditional condom.  I keep a supply and bring them with me when meeting a provider.

 
My frustration with them (no pun intended) is that it's a sensitive topic to discuss before meeting face to face and far too many providers I've seen either don't know about them and so are reluctant to trust them, or they have challenges using (inserting) them.  Yes, it can distract from the mood, especially the 1st or 2nd time you try them. But that fades quickly.  

 
The sensation for me is almost like going bare. And I suggest (with NO actual evidence) that it makes three-ways better as it can alleviate the need to deploy a new condom when switching... (again, I have NO actual evidence that that the risks of not switching with FC's are lower than not switching with traditional condoms. Maybe I just want that to be so...).  

 
Thanks for asking about this!  I really appreciate that a provider is taking a serious interest in this area. As others have mentioned, with age comes significant challenges to successful completion using traditional condoms.  

 
PS: The solve to the problem of "hard to insert" is:
1. Take out the inner ring at the bottom. It's not needed and complicates the whole process.
2. Use a phallic shaped item (dildo, small vibrator, even a brush handle) to inset the FC. Leave a little material outside the labia to ensure the guy doesn't accidentally slip in outside the condom.  
3. One of you should use your hand to guide the gent's entry. Don't rely on pelvic GPS to get you on target.

I wouldn't go as far as calling it unpleasant,  but agree 100% about the visual.  
My first experience with them was a msog session.  First with a standard condom, second with an FC.  The FC gives more freedom to go bbbj to pussy and back...but the feel during intercourse wasn't significantly better.

I have tried them with a few providers and I think they are great. Def a better feel, and makes it easy to from bj to insertion and back, especially when changing positions.
