I've come to several ad sites for promising and reviewed providers only to be totally put off when I'm required to apply for a "membership" to view their gallery or other parts of the site.  I totally understand that this is their choice, but it would seem that providers would be smart enough to realize that this does not help them make their sale.  In fact, I'm constantly amazed by how unaccommodating some providers can be in helping the hobbyist to decide on them.  "The customer's always right" seems to be frequently ignored.

.... But the ladies who entice you into applying by filling in their contact form with your name and email address only to find that you must now pay a fee of $9.95 per month in order to view her 4 photos may just be someone that cannot be trusted behind closed doors.

Just viewed a new-comer (pun intended) lady this past week on the Vegas board with the above scheme going.

Sorry Z, but you probably won't miss my business !

Lots of laughing... I saw that to and thought the exact same thing..

I agree. when I see that I am movin' right along.

I have been helping a lady who by accident posted something she did not mean to in an early BP ad. While BP pulled the ad for her I have found 3 other sites that just ripped off her BP ad and posted it like she did the ad and one of those was a membership site. If she had not been searching for the material she would never have known she was even on those sites.

I won't go into detail, but the reasons she gave for going this route in her ads definitely gave me a new perpective.  Basically, she's had one too many disruptive stalking experiences.  Also, she is aware of the trade-off, knowing that her volume will be lower because of her ad style.  In cases like this, we can chalk it up to personal preferences.  Still yet, I'm like a lot of other hobbyists in that, all other things being equal, I'm not likely to go out of my way to determine if I want to meet with providers with these sites.

I'm going to click right back off her site.   I've run into a few of these lately & Nope, I didn't bother.  Any girl who does not understand this bit is suspect as far as attitude from my perspective.  There are way too many savy providers who are very reasonable.

Photos are one of the biggest selling points...  it is absolutely vital that I see several pictures (need not be explicit) but better show me a bunch of views so I am confident I know what she looks like.

I made that mistake.  I found that at least 50% of the contact info is no longer valid.  When you pull up providers on TER, they haven't had a review in 4 years.  So it's a waste of money.
