Will you be able to have a normal relationship when the time comes for you to hang up ur hobby gear?

this is the way to go.
To much drama in a relationship.
I still have my adult kids and grandkids to love.

However I have said this before, a provider has to put up what she would not have in a civvie relationship and I think the business has made me less tolerant of certain things in regard to sex and possibly relationships.

When there is no money involved I am more than ever going to have sex the way I need it to be. No longer do I have to forgo or deal with what a guy wants or needs.

And I can sleep with who I am attracted to and will not settle for anything less.

Hell , I have a normal relationship now and have for years.
Of course I don't think enjoying the hobby is abnormal.

Both hobbyists and providers may have issues dating after leaving the hobby world.  Even while in this world dating will be weird.  Amanda Brooks has a great post on her blog about hobbyists and dating, I attached the link.

Wow, the blog post was interesting. Although I don't agree that all "hobbyist" are as she described.

There was an Awesome Provider who worked in my city for about 15 years. Then she decided to move to another state. I was so Bummed when she told me that. So now she's living in that state and living her Life. She's out of the Business now, not even working in her state. We've kept in contact all those years that I still see her to this day. In fact I'm planning a Trip to see her again this September. We just hang out, go to a Movie, have Dinner, and of course have Fun. She insists that I don't have to pay her for the Fun. She just likes me to visit her. So if this is considered a Normal Relationship after a Provider retires, then I guess I'm living proof it can happen.

But I can see how hobbyist may let this get to their head.  After paying to have beautiful women put in their best effort for you I'd imagine dating and/or marriage life would be somewhat of a let down.  At the same time, when my generation's idea of dating is friends with benefits and "hey want to cum over and watch a movie" dating for us can also be somewhat of a let down.

Like the normal white picket fence rotting  in boredom ,
normal relationships are prone to disappear .

I guess if you have money to burn I can see having an attitude like that, or if you don't truly value a woman. I am not that much older (9yrs) than you and don't understand the idea that dating now is FWB and ordering pizza and watching a movie. What happened to going out for dinner and drinks, a show, paddle boat dinner or just plain putting some effort into dating.

I would think so... If you are getting paid, of course you do what the boss wants, it's called work for a reason.

The 20 something men these days are extremely lazy and self entitled.  I call it "man boy" syndrome.

he can't be that unhappy....the entire world has seen her face in association with escort services.

Only a proud or 'desperate for business' person would do that...I will go with the first option.

Yet money is a strong enough motivator to allow you to compromise your own principles which you claim are paramount?

and not for others.

I use this trick to make sure I don’t get out of control with the hobby. I abstain for few months, like 3 to 6 months. Which help me to think with my big head instead of my penis as you say.

No, I don’t have therapist, I don’t like them or care much about them.

I did not mention I had to compromise principles that were paramount. I did however say that there were things I did that I would not do in civvie dating, not a huge deal although clearly you wanted it to be in order to back up your perception of my very simple post.

To help you out, let me give you a perfect example of what I meant;

Client wants to kiss and approaches it with a huge fat tongue poking into my mouth and leaving there or wiggling it side to side. I allow it for as long as I can and then dodge and weave and find ways to avoid it. Hardly compromising a paramount principle.

Civvie dating, if a guy tried that I would  say this isn't working, get up and leave.

An example of compromising my paramount principles would be allowing BBFS for an extra $50 bucks. And then drinking myself into a stupor because of what I had let some trick do for a measly $50.

AND I am sure there are some things about your job you don't really enjoy but do that are not compromising your principles?

Only illegal is surpressed backward cultures.
Criminalzation of the hobby in itself is abnormal.

In p4p my wants and needs are second if not ever considered depending on who I am with. In the civvie world I can speak up and tell him what I want and need in order for it to be MUTUALLY satisfying. IF he does not care about that here's I get up and leave and won't feel bad about it.

And then there might be times where, as some guys are apt to do,  don't give a flying fig about his needs, All I want to do is be selfish and get mine.

I have a business which took me years to build into a success. The only thing I don't like are the people, and temperments, I have to deal with. But guess what, I can get rid of them if I want haha. No principles ever compromised

If someone is that much of  pain in the ass, they are not rebooked. Funny about you not liking the people and temperaments (sometimes), not unlike this business  and then we have other things here that you don't have to deal with and vice versa.

Universally, set some decent boundaries and don't do anything you know is uncomfortable or, as you put it, compromise your principles. Annoying crap , well some days are better than others. Hope you are having a pleasant Labor Day weekend.

It's all relative, is it not?

As long as you enjoy whatever it is the two (or more) of you are doing, that's all the "normal" you need to be.

Name one normal person that has contributed anything of lasting value to the world.

All great achievements in any fields of endeavor have been accomplished by abnormal people who go beyond the bounds that society sets for them.

The last thing I would want to be known for is being normal.

all about YOU. In P4P the guy is #1, otherwise it should be about BOTH partners. Yes, you did use "mutually" in the above post but that was after I posted my comment.
