According to some articles quoted here (TER) in the past, the top handful of girls doing live cam shows make a lot of money. If annualized, estimates are in the 6 figure range. But that is only for the girls at the very top.

I'll let others chime in to agree or disagree, but here on TER, many clients seem to feel that their disposable income is better disposed of doing the real thing rather than paying to look at pictures or videos. The only video porn many clients bother with is the free stuff but many clients will pay large fees to spend time in the actual company of porn stars. (See the Porn Star board and Reviews (porn star = yes).)

You can broadcast live on fanscope and your clients can watch and/or tip you.
Many girls like myself use onlyfans because the site takes care of the payment processing.
Other ladies sell Private snap, but you have to figure out how to take payments and such.
I'm more of a hands-on person myself, but viewing a webcam appeals to the voyeur, while a Skype session is still one on one, just far more limited in scope.
There's no reason not to offer both.

Thank you for responding everyone. In this hobby, it's to each his own. Paying for Cam girls doesn't make sense to some, but bbbj doesn't make sense to some of us. Just because one person won't do it, doesn't mean all clients feel that way. I have made money on a webcam before so I know that it's possible.
