Why do certain people feel the need to lie about illness, getting married when they are not or never did! to close friends some one who cares a whole bunch about them. Ive had to instances Also Lying about being attacked by a client lying about breast cancer when it never occurred Please make me understand the Philosophy in all this No I will not name drop. just looking for insight. Its crazy And I just dont get it.

People lie about bs to get attention and sympathy... Me? I am just a bitch. Seems to work fine. I am not trying to win any popularity contests, but others...they will say whatever they think guys/gals want to hear in order to get people to feel sorry for them. I would assume that would have the exact opposite effect, being why would anyone want to be with someone who is obviously desperate

I have an obnoxious sister-in-law who constantly is either sick or having some type of surgery. She's been doing this all her life. I know she lies about it just to get attention. She was always complaining about cigarette smoke, and said she was so sensitive to it that she could smell a cigarette burning in the car in front of her on the expressway with the windows on both cars closed. She just has to be the center of attention, warped as that center may be.
