I have set a date with a provider.  It took several days to set up.  One of the days I wanted, she said she was going to be out of town.  Now, I have seen that she is in town on that day and giving a special discoount.  She didn't say anything about that to me.  Should I keep my original appointment or cancel.  After all, if she posts a special for everybody, Why not me?

I you feel like you are about to be taken, give her a call and cancel the appointment. If she ask why, explain your reason. Do not waste her time or go through with something that will leave you feeling like you have been had.

Her situation could have changed and she was offering last minute specials to fill the void. Figuring she already had you confirmed for a future appt she probably didn't see any economic reason to  move your appt up.

Or...she could be a dirty, filthy, no good liar piece of cr*p.

Coin toss. Talk to her, its the only way to ease your worried mind :)

My schedule is usually all over the place. And tossing in a special when I was originally supposed to be out of town is a good way to make sure I am not bored.

As for her letting you know about her schedule change, that's up to her. I have specials that I post on my website, but never post on boards. Kind of like a bonus for those who are regular visitors of my site. As well, she is not aware of your schedule. How is she to know your schedule is flexible enough to change dates?

Contact her and stop jumping to conclusions. Only way to be fair.

I emailed her.  Nothing nefarious going on, I misunderstnad what she had said prior to our setting up a dae. Unfortunately, no discount.  I am a gentleman and plan on keeping my appointment.

Also, I talking to her in the emails, she said that she was very busy and the day had a "rushed" feel to it.  I would much rather have a great time than be on an assembly line.  I have talk talking with her for a couple of months and I don't think that she was trying to do anything wrong.  Thanks for all of your help and suggestions,  it is good to have a support group (LOL) when you need it.  ;)
