Missing mirrors.
Probably removed for eye care reasons.
In the United States, 36.5 percent of adults are obese. Another 32.5 percent of American adults are overweight.or ceiling, for that matter.
What ever became of these? it used to be very common (70s-80s) that every gal's incall and most MPs would have these, but I can't remember the last time a boudoir was adorned with these useful props.
Does anyone still use them?
They are a feature I wouldn't mind seeing make a comeback.
Any other props of old that should make a resurgence? (Nix on the lava lamps, by the way.)
It's a tacky place not far from NYC that's a classic "hot sheets" motel. Every room has mirrored ceilings and walls plus flat screens playing porn. I took a couple of my faves there and they loved it. The nice part about it is, it's also well-run and clean. Tacky but clean.
is that the one in a city in jersey that starts with an "s"? if so, i have so many awesome memories of that place. an ex civie gf introduced me to it. they had heart shaped hot tubs in there as well if i remember right...

All of the KAgencies I've visited in LA, OC and Vegas have mirrors in very well placed spots, but I don't recall any on the ceiling.
even mirrored headboards, but never on the ceiling. That's a major weight issue and since these are all relatively short-term rental apartments, it would not be worth it to put in a ceiling mirror and then pay to remove it and re-build the ceiling when the lease is up. I have seen a couple of ceiling mirrors where indies own their own condo.
One had one on the ceiling. But I know a few that have a well placed mirror.

damn .. Hpy beat me to it ... yes Encore rooms have wonderful mirrors .. months later i can still remember the image of hot blonde bent over the foot of the bed with me behind her and .... well nice side view in the mirror he he he he he
In the 80's and 90's I recall that mirrored closet doors were almost a standard in rental properties in the LA area. It made sense for a place with smaller bedrooms where wall space was limited, and the mirror made the room look bigger. So looking sideways at the reflection on the closet door was fairly common, and quite fun as long as the viewing angle featured her gorgeous body more than my flabby fat. :p
But of course installing and maintaining these cost builders and rental managers much more than the ubiquitous off-white paint that today can be reapplied in 20 minutes to cover up the last renters' unidentifiable "bio-stains" and scratches.

I saw one amazing Thai lady in Tysons Corner, VA who had a full length mirror on her wall. I hadn't even noticed it, but when she was going down on me she pointed it out and said "look!" and I was able to get a different perspective on the blowjob. Nice.
There is a hookup motel on Long Island called the Commack Motor Inn and I think all of their rooms have mirrors and a lot of them. I took a civie lady there once for a few hours of fun and we had a room with a mirrored ceiling over the bed.

By coincidence on the topic of mirrors and sex, I was with a provider recently in a No-Tell Motel and while she was riding me Reverse Cowgirl, she glanced over to her left side at her reflection in the wall mirror. I could see her shoulders and head in the mirror from where I was lying under her. I remarked to her that the mirrors in the place were all mounted way too high. Had they been even six to ten inches lower, in that particular position, we both could have enjoyed the view. When we switched to Doggy-Style, it was perfect for watching ourselves.
Ceiling-mounted would have been even better!
If I remember correctly some cabins in the Poconos had mirrored ceiling in their "honeymoon suites".

Most of the AMPs here have big wall mirrors in the rooms, and a lot of the indies I’ve seen had mirrors in their rented hotel rooms or condos. In fact my last three sessions all have been in rooms with wall mirrors. (And no it wasn’t the same gal or the same incall. In fact it was on 2 different islands). Maybe Hawaii is just behind the times as usual and some of these hotels and condos haven’t been remodeled so they still maintain the 80s look?
On the other hand, while I have heard and read about ceiling mirrors, and have seen a few in movies or TV, I can’t honestly remember ever being in a room with a mirror on the ceiling, in my entire life. 🤷🏻♂️
have one or more large mirrors in each location, so I think the Asian orgs are still convinced mirrors add to the experience, and I can't say I disagree with that.
only if I can avoid looking at myself. When I do it inevitably causes me to point to our reflection and say to her, "Oh, look! Beauty and the Beast!"
