My Spanish accent seems to be a turn on for many.

Do accents turn you on? And if so, which one is your absolute weakness? I feel like everyone has that one accent that flips a switch instantly. For me, there’s something about a Spanish accent that just hits differently the rhythm, the warmth, the way certain words roll off the tongue specially when she calls me out papi. It always catches my attention and definitely turns me on more than I expect.

Curious to hear yours. What accent is your kryptonite, the one that gets you going the moment you hear it?

My Spanish accent seems to be a turn on for many.

I'm from Spain thus I travelled extensively
throughout Europe, experiencing a plethora
of accents.

Italian accents definitely top my list!

I was afforded the pleasure of dining with
an intimate group of people in Italy years
ago.
One beautiful guest was Italian Actress
Monica Bellucci.

The heady allure of the accent, and her
natural beauty was my first lustful desire
for a woman.

Not my thing, but I would expect COCKney to be a popular accent on TER. After all, many here are on the lookout for a Berkeley Hunt.
.
I am affected by some accents, especially when they ARE expected. That is, if I see a pretty woman with an exotic appearance and then she speaks American English like she was born and raised in the good old USA it is almost a disappointment. If she speaks with an accent I associate with her (apparent) ethnicity (exotic-ness), that's a plus for me.
.
(Some people will fake an accent to come across as being more exotic [Smartie].)

I don't discriminate at all, but my faves are British, Aussie, Scottish, South African, Italian... Boston, Southern, LOL

there’s nothing better than hearing a southern man say “yes ma’am”

Nothing sexier than a hot gal born and raised on the big island and has that pigeon accent.

I also like the born in east la accent that many latinas have.

The worst....is when whitewashed gals that are part latin try to toss in the weak attempt at spanglish, yet dont know spanish at all. You can tell when they throw in words like Mi Familia or Mi Culo, yet are completely faking the funk.

I knew it felt odd writing that out.

Thank you!

I thought he might have been referring to some intergalactic interests, but that might be a Forbidden Planet -- I mean Topic -- on TER.

(I wonder if Lt_FrankDrebin is following this thread?)

Re: Unless you have more avian interests...
the word you want is pidgin.
Dr. Morbius, a Stranger in Paradise.

nice how it slipped the pigeon reference in.

I agree, re: mrfisher's link.
.
But it leaves me wondering if I have to spell out that Dr. Morbius was played by Walter Pigeon.

There are some that really, really hate a pigeon accent whether it's from Brooklyn, Rome, or London.

I had a German colleague some years ago. Just listening to her talk over the phone made me want to rub one out.  Which might have been a bit tricky in the office.

Anything except British or German.

I cannot believe NO ONE picked the sexist of them all....MIDWEST!
I can go anywhere in the world and people instantly know I was just gnawing on a block of cheddar.
We are the only ones that can pull off "you betcha" and "yous guys" and make it sound s*e*x*y*

That one letter typo (I assume it is) completely changes the meaning. D'oh!

I am trying to come up with a good joke for midwest accents being sexist but I've got none!!
Back to the drawing board I go!!!

But I'm putting you through the mattress if you speak Spanish to me while I'm in it

Nothing will make me lose my lady boner faster than hearing a southern twang.

Thinking about it, I am a bit partial to a British, Aussie or Kiwi accent. Crikey! 😜

Frenchhh😭😭it's  the language of love too

also got turned on by John Cleese's Russian.

That movie is one of the best comedies ever made, by far.

I just watched the video but don't want to go back and find the link. And, yes, "Wanda" was a great movie. It's the only one I can think of where the male lead (Kline) won the Oscar for Best Actor despite it being a comedy.

Jimmy Stewart won Best Actor for "The Philadelphia Story."

You're right that Kline won Best Supporting Actor in 1989 for "Wanda," so I was wrong about that. But Jimmy Stewart won Best Actor for "The Philadelphia Story" in 1940. It was Dustin Hoffman who won Best Actor in 1989 for "Rain Man."
I have a feeling there's a joke hidden in your post but, if so, I'll admit I did not get it.
Sorry.

...that it was Jimmy Stewart who was the only male lead who won the Oscar for a comedy role.  "Rain Man" isn't considered a comedy, although Dustin Hoffman's character does remind me of a group of posters on another board here and I certainly get a lot of laughs out of their posts.  ; -)

My Cousin Vinny and his GF Mona Lisa Vito sport Brooklyn accents in another "one of the best comedies ever made, by far."
