STDds from bbbj

While condoms are always used for intercourse many of us enjoy bbbj. According to the literature stds can be transmitted orally also. I’m interested in how common this actually is. My question for both ladies and gentlemen is: yourself included do know or even just know of anyone who has picked up an STD from a bbbj

I've hobbied for 17 years with over 200 women...all providng BBBJ.  I don't have any STD.

Even if I did get AIDS I would die of old age before AIDS at this point.

Getting/giving BBBJ does not mean you just stick any dick into any mouth.

Both providers and customers should always be practical and careful to ensure they are healthy, clean, and aware of the red flags that may mean BBBJ is not a good idea at that time.

The risks are real, but relatively small if both parties take responsibility to minimize those risks.

Funny seeing this post today. Yes I've gotten burned from a BBBJ in the past, and i'm currently waiting on results now, though i'm hopeful it's anxiety.

I've gotten many (BJs) throughout my yrs in the hobby and agree it's rare, but it definitely can happen. I stuck to independent FBSM providers afterwards w/ great success. The visit that has me worried now was a recent trip to an AMP (little head won that day smh).

Stay safe!

NO. I do not know of, not have I heard rumours of anyone getting an STI from oral sex alone in our little secret world.

It is well known that transmission of STI's via the oral route, while possible, is improbable. I'll go for the BBBJ every time, and I don't need a dental dam to eat pussy either.

Let's face it: there is some risk involved in having sex. I refuse to wear a full-body condom.

Don't let fear rule.

I've been an enthusiastic proponent of BBBJ and DATY since I first ventured into p4p back in '92.

Even though I was married for almost 20 years, she flat refused to participate in oral sex in any form.

It was such an eye-opening experience that I've been trying to make up for 20 years of lost BJs! ;)

Transmission of STIs via oral means is miniscule; but, as has been said, one must be careful as to their selection of play partners. Do your research and see only reputable providers -- you should be good.

I local DC area girl gave me Gonorrhea. There was sex, but very little, and it was protected. Most of the session was BBBJ where I came in her mouth.  5 days later, I could not fuckin' pee w/o it hurting like a motherfucker. It ain't no fun. Got diagnosed the same day and a shot in the butt cleaned it up.  Even the doctor was surprised that I hadn't had unprotected sex and just oral.

I wondered about that.

The first day in my microbiology class in college in the lab we were instructed to clean our work area extremely well with the strongest anti-microbial industrial strength cleaner on the market. So we did that.  Immediately afterwards we took a swab and swiped it across at work area and put it on auger and put the auger in the incubator. Five days later five different things were growing!

So if it is possible (see my previous post on the subject) To get gonorrhea in the throat, then why wouldn’t it be possible to spread it to a penis From oral sex?

But I have specifically asked this question of at least 10 doctors and they say they really don’t worry about this happening. At the chance of this happening is just so small. They say that even if gonorrhea is in the throat, it will likely die there because the environment isn’t acidic enough for it.

Maybe it was just your bad luck to have oral sex with a mouth that has just recently been inoculated with gonorrhea.

Thanks!  How nice for you to notice and say something also. I have become quite disenchanted with TER boards. Some of the things that some of the people say made me feel like I would hate my job if I continued to look at these boards, so I left.

Recently I was even seriously considering delisted, in fact. I came back to the boards to do some research on the subject.  I’m going to post my feelings And thoughts about de listing one of these days when I have enough time and I Still might delist.

But hey, it’s so nice to have a kind voice reply to my post. Thanks again.

I never had that problem before and since. I've been hobbying since 2001 and exclusively only see women who offer BBBJ.  I've never had BBFS in the hobby, and unless I know I am going to die tomorrow, I never will LOL.  Oh well..  one of those things.

Actually, the growing medium you referenced is spelled agar.  An auger is a tool used to clear pipes that have become clogged.

How stupid is spellcheck!?!

Just joking. I thought it looked wrong.

I have never caught std from bbbj, it use to be a big deal for me, if a provider didn’t offer bbbj then I wouldn’t see her, but any more it really not that big of a deal for me, i seen Amber Raine not that long ago (she lives in Denver)and her cbj is better then any bbbj I ever had!!

I am working  almost for a decade with breaks, and never had any STD (knock knock). From what I learned  from doctor, risks  go higher if you have open wound in mouth.

Don't brush your teeth in the last hour before your appointment.  Brushing leaves microscratches inside your mouth.  I never would have guessed, but it makes sense.  For this reason I brush before my shower.  And the drive to location makes it over an hour.

Same goes for shaving! A doctor friend of mine told me that if you shave just before having sex, there may be small cuts from shaving and that increases your risk of contracting an std.

heading out to an incall, and no matter how long I had my face buried in her pussy, I never once caught anything.

Absolutely.

Shaving tends to give microtears in the skin. They generally heal within 12-24 hours, so when I shave the Dino Dick™ and the TyrannoSack, it's the day before to allow plenty of healing time.

Faces (for most guys) have had years to acclimate to the stress of shaving and usually heal faster.

Shaving? Shouldn't you be plucking? ... your feathers?

T. Rex Like You Haven’t Seen Him: With Feathers

"... Another recent discovery is the hollow-boned Dilong (126 million years ago), the first tyrannosaur found with fossilized feathers — discovered in 2004 by Mark Norell, the museum’s chairman of paleontology and the curator of this show, and five Chinese colleagues. (Gregory Erickson, a professor at Florida State University, was a consultant on the exhibition.) Scientists now believe that all tyrannosaurs had feathers; while small species like Dilong would have been covered with them, the adult T. rex probably had just patches for display.
.
"The advantage T. rex had on its ancestors was its growth spurt. One model here depicts a specimen at 4 years old, its body covered in beige down, its dangly little arms too short to reach its mouth, from which fearsome conical teeth protrude like stalactites. ..."

In my 65 Rambler....I use to run with a high school cheerleader who got off "bangin" to that song....memories.

and the opening is the bomb, but believe it or not, there's another song from around the same period with an opening that can chase that up a tree:

Now only that, but possibly the best opening lyric to a rock song ever.

Did you also know Country Yossi and the Shteeble Hoppers?

This selection also has a great intro before they get into the song:

Yeah, they were a good bunch of kids.

I didn't charge them any fees for the use of my name for their band ;)

And my first car was a '64 Rambler...station wagon, no less.

Great car for a young TRex.

Yep, I had a few pin-feathers, but as noted, that's usually a "younger" theropod's issue. Like many of you jumped-up monkeys, we start losing that extraneous covering after a few million years.

Maybe. That’s just not what I’ve been told from multiple doctors when I have specifically asked about oral sex and STDs.

Every time I have gone to Planned Parenthood to be tested for everything or talent testing services I asked the same questions. What is the risk of this and what is the risk of that? And before I ever started doing GFE (in the beginning I did not swap any fluids) I talk to my physician and Planned Parenthood about potential risks.

Planned Parenthood straight up said, “ We really are not worried about oral sex”.  The risk would be herpes. And this is why I always take a look before I put my mouth on any penis and I also turn around backwards and let somebody look at my pussy before they go down on me. As long as you don’t see anything that looks like a herpes lesion which looks like a little red pimple (or worse) it should be safe.

BUT, And here’s the big but, It is possible for gonorrhea to live in the throat and the ass. However it’s preferred environment, the vagina and the urethra in men, is way more acidic. So the basic environment of the ass and the throat is not conducive for eight thriving and it normally will die out on its own. So if it can do that, then why can’t it be spread from kissing? I don’t know. But I have asked mini doctors and they said no, you cannot get it from kissing.

While we’re on the subject, can you get HIV from oral sex or kissing? Here’s what I’ve heard on that subject. “You would have to have a such a tremendous open sore in your mouth that you would not want to kiss or have oral sex”.

Don’t take my word for it. Talk to your own doctors or Planned Parenthood. But this is what I’ve heard straight from doctors.

My partial understanding:

Vaginas and urethras are pretty sterile and aren't as well prepared for infections; the acidity helps for vaginas. Still, girls are always told to wipe from front to back for good reason and that is why UTIs and yeast infections happen.

Mouths are not at all sterile, and are built to deal with a lot of bacteria, so they are also better at fighting microscopic things off and killing them if they are bacteria (your local bacteria help in this effort to defend their turf). Apparently, the back of the throat is not as well protected as the mouth, which is why oral gonorrhea can be transmitted that way sometimes, especially with deep throat interactions. Even serious DFK won't reach the back of the throat unless one of you has a very long tongue.

But I’ve been safe and lucky enough to not get any STDs. I always do cfs but enjoy receiving bbbj, and have never done daty but did dato once with a provider. I try to only see reputable providers but have slipped up on occasion and got tested immediately since the thought of an std from bbbj still worries me, and I don’t wanna bring it home to my wife when we fuck once a quarter 😂 but I’m in the hobby for the bbjs

...they used way too much spit when performing BBBJ's.  Maybe some providers have seen it in porn and think it's sexy but it doesn't do anything for me.  Now I tell them not to hock a loogie on my dick.

Remember when he said he got his throat cancer from HPV oral sex?

Oddly enough, he and Catherine Zeta-Jones separated right after he announced that (I'm guessing he didn't get from her) but later got back together.

I also remember reading when I was in high school that 3/4 of gonnorhea infections in women are in the throat.

As a side note, in case anyone here doesn’t know, HPV vaccines are available for men under 45 now. I was unvaccinated until last year as the oldest you could be prior as a male was 27, I think, making me too old when I was first interested.

From what I understand, oral gonorrhea and herpes (HSV2 - genital herpes) are the main risks, but neither risk is high in the US.

The gonorrhea bacterium is the same whether transmitted orally or genitally, it is just the location that differs.  If your partner has it in her throat, you can get it from BBBJ; if it is just down there, you can get oral gonorrhea from going down on her.

If you are among the minority who didn't get HSV1 (oral herpes - i.e., the cold sore virus) as a kid, you are at somewhat greater risk of getting HSV2. They are different, but related viruses. Apparently, either can be transmitted orally or by genitals, but they have the names they do for a reason.

Other than that, transmission of other STDs through oral (either way) is possible but rare.

I am not a physician and have no personal experience with either, but this is just what I have picked up over the years from reading.

bottom line you can get or give herpes from oral encounters .  in fact  HSV-1 transmitted to genitals has become one of the more common STD issues.      so while i am as guilty as many in getting BBBJ  just know it has its risks.

And this information came from where? Because all my research on oral std's still say it is very uncommon. So I am very interested in finding the study or research you got your information from.

I think that you

9sexystepahnie) are right.

If you have HSV-1 (which most of us do), you probably got it as a small child in a non-sexual way. You have it for life, so you cant get it again any differently. A Planned Parenthood link is attached; the CDC has the same information. It is also transmitted mostly by open sores; I haven't had a cold sore since I was old enough to drive and I am 62 now.

It isn't easily transmitted by oral sex, and -- if you don't already have it -- it apparently protects a bit against HSV-2.

Thanks but I was referring to Nevertoolarge saying it is the most common way of getting herpes. But maybe he was talking about oral to oral and not oral to genital.

No he was saying oral to genital is the most common spread of herpes. So again, Nevertoolarge, where did you get that information? Not trying to be a jerk but posting on public forums and saying things that could be wrong, should be open to further review. What article or study states that herpes 2 is most often gotten from oral ?

i didnt say was most common ..    i was saying its becoming more common and something that's happening more than in the past ...whole point is that oral sex is not without its real risks.       and most transmission is the day or two before you realize you are having an outbreak .. its called asymptomatic transmission.

if you are bored please read the attached white paper link .. but its conclusion is     .....Conclusion
HSV-1 epidemiology is undergoing a remarkable transition in the US, with less exposure in childhood and more in adulthood, and less oral but more genital acquisition. HSV-1 will persist as a widely prevalent infection, with ever-increasing genital disease burden.

its a well know phenomenon of the last 20 years .. HSV-1 oral spread to genital ..   if you google   HSV-1 oral to genital you will get numerous links.

for example from the world health organization.

Scope of the problem
In 2016, an estimated 3.7 billion people under the age of 50, or 67% of the population, had HSV-1 infection (oral or genital). Estimated prevalence of the infection was highest in Africa (88%) and lowest in the Americas (45%).

With respect to genital HSV-1 infection, between 122 million to 192 million people aged 15-49-years were estimated to have genital HSV-1 infection worldwide in 2016, but prevalence varied substantially by region. Most genital HSV-1 infections are estimated to occur in the Americas, Europe and Western Pacific, where HSV-1 continues to be acquired well into adulthood.    ( i guess here in America we get the most Blow jobs! )

That still doesnt say getting genital herpes from someone w oral herpes is the most common transmission .

That article was very strange it kept quoting stats from 2050 and 2100, as in the year 2050 and the year 2100. If it had happened once or twice i would have thought typo but it was through out the whole article. Unless they were suppossing the stats for years that havent happened. But no they were specific saying things like 29.7%. So i question the whole article.

Not sure if the same goes for herpes but if you have had chicken pox you can get shingles. I have seen a few people get that and it's nothing nice. If you haven't had chicken pox but have herpes you should ask your doctor about shingles. I will do some research because what I wrote , the second part is just my opinion.
