Had one write a bad review for me. Wanted my hotel info in advance something didn't feel right in my instincts.
Gave him a hotel down the street as a point of address he showed up about 45min early. My instincts were correct.
When guys do this it sets not a great tone for an appt.
And he thought that was ok.
I have no idea why guys think this shit is ok and then get an attitude when we say we are not giving out more than a general area.
Too many creeps (some sitting right here on this website) arriving waaay too early sitting in the car observing provider's movements.
As far as the OP regarding cancellation excuses the old grandma passing hasn't been used in awhile.
I recall traveling to Boston and majority of the guys had so many accidents and had to cancel.
I was thinking to myself Personal Injury lawyers must be making a killing in MA with so many injury proned people lol.

I had a frequently reviewed, traveling provider tell me about multiple men who make an appointment, arrive at her incall hotel, proceed to her room, knock on the door, and enter the room. Then, immediately, they claim to have left their money in their cars. They leave and don't return. Are they setting her up for something nefarious? Are they just fucking around with her? Or are they so disappointed in her appearance they decide to run away? Have any of you TER guys cancelled like that?

A lot of guys don't have the slightest idea how to tactfully, or even untactfully, reject a woman to her face because they are not attracted to her. I think this is the cowards way to bail on a session, but that would be my guess.
For the record, I have "walked" on sessions before when the girl who answered the door was 20 years old and/or 40 lbs heavier than advertised, but I have NEVER been so chickenshit as to make an excuse as lame as the one you describe. I have also had to turn away women who have shown up for an outcall for the very same reason. I don't like doing it, but I refuse to "reward bad behavior" by going through with a session when I have obviously been lied to. It doesn't really require much of an explanation, a B&S provider already knows she is lying, I don't need to berate her a simply "sorry this is not going to work" is sufficient 99% of the time, UNLESS of course she gets indignant and "demands" a further explanation in which case I simply tell the truth in the calmest, most matter of fact tone I can muster.
You are correct, sir. Although she was convinced it was number 1 and changed hotels a couple of times. I wished I had bounced. Lesson learned.

While I can certainly understand if a lady misrepresents herself declining an appt.
But say a lady is just as she advertises looks like her pics and advertises GFE but the gent is booking more PSE services than GFE from a known GFE.Just to complain later seems like a jerk move but would have been better to cancel.

the more I thought about it, I started to consider it may not be that rare and I just got lucky all these years to only have it happen that one time. I had seen this lady before, and she knew I liked DATY, so she texts me in the morning on the day of my appointment and said she had to cancel because she had a "shaving accident." She said I could rebook in about four days if I wanted to. She would be good by then.
I've had to cancel a few times due to an injury I receive from a toothy girl. Mr. Happy gets scarred by abrasion [not biting]. A tooth scraping over the same spot of skin a few hundred times in an hour is not good. The injury is fairly common for me and I know to allow 3 weeks of abstinence after this happens. Sometimes I will book someone in advance and not heal in time.
Back the '90's, when I started making good money, I saved up for a visit for a "high end" escort. This was back in the day when gas was 0.95/gal, rent on a decent apartment was $400/mo, fine dining for 2 with alcohol was $50, car dates with fine young girls on the track were $20, etc .. this gal charged $400/hr.
Anticipated all week, drove 90 minutes to her location, waited .. then her PO calls me, tells me the date is off, I can see her girlfriend, etc. I said no thanks... held on the four Benjamins, as I took a break from P4P after that.
I only started back up because I discovered the delights of tourism in legal RLD's...
...an animal hospital at midnight. Veterinary hospitals have been around since the '80's. Even vets were on call after regular office hours. Maybe she was lying about taking the dog to the vet, but it wasn't because of the time of day.
Rare instances no lame stories, mine flat out said she has to cancel our 1HR date because she has a 3HR dinner date, 3 hours before our session. No problem I had at all but she graciously offered a decent discount on the next visit. Haven’t cashed it in yet though. 🤔
but sorta from left field, and noteworthy for their honesty.
I had a first meeting with a provider scheduled one morning. About an hour before she texted me and asked if she could call me. When she called she explained that her teen-aged daughter was having a crisis and she didn’t think she should leave her, apologized profusely and asked if we could reschedule—and then there would be no charge. I had a teen aged daughter back then and empathized with her, and told her it was no problem. I asked if instead of a free session she could do a longer session with me at her hour rate, and she agreed. And when I did meet her I had a great time.
And one time my ATF called me when I was about to leave for her place, told me she’d been out real late celebrating a big life event with her BFF, and she didn’t think she’d be 100% for our date. She asked if I’d like to come to her house for tea with her and her BFF, so with nothing better to do I drove over and met her BFF (also a provider, who I saw a few times after that) and had a nice time talking with them. And my AFF more than made up for it the next time I saw her.
Tried to set up with a hi rated lady and it wasn't going well. A whole lot of BSC stuff from her. So I booked with her friend that had done some 3somes with. This lady turned out to be my ATF. Wrote a great review. That enraged the BSC lady. She said I should try her. I reluctantly booked her and then she canceled as I was driving to see her because I had seen her friend first. Wtf.
i have had a few girls cut the time short due to an "emergency" phone call ..those tended to be strippers or casino girls ... but i had one session short because the girl took the key to her car left at valet .. ok so she throws on some clothes runs it down .. and back to me in record time .......... but then .. another valet call ... battery is dead LOL so she had to cut it short to wait for AAA LOL oh well now that wasnt her fault .. it was a girl i still gave a great review.
