I really respect whatever a person wants to believe, I just believe very differently. I study the Bible intently and debate against religious belief, but don't throw away the baby with the bathwater, and often quote from it.
My comment was harsher than it should have been though from the start. I don't like to use the term "Hooker" as it is usually used in a condescending way, and for that I apologize, but I'm not running for office!
I totally get the way sex can be far more endearing than my post let on too.
Getting back to the question though, I assume (probably foolishly) that the OP's remarks and question about "religious belief" centers around what the bible has to say? Sex and "immorality" are a common theme throughout. Following the god of the bible, old or new, makes them incompatible, though in the old testament, the woman seems to be the only negative target, being a "harlot", and the man is singled out only if he "commits adultery" with another mans wife.
This is a topic for the P&R board, but the political whacko's have that one tied down!
We are biologically animals but that is only a negative characterization when we act like animals! . We share much in common with the rest of the animal kingdom. We have a natural need to eat and drink in order to survive, and to copulate in order to reproduce. All animals have those drives and instincts, and, as animals, so do we. What makes us unique in the animal kingdom is that we were also endowed with the capacity to judge right and wrong and to control our actions. We have the ability to eat, not like animals devouring their prey, but in a civilized, human way. We have the ability to cleanse our hands before we eat so that the sanitary conditions are optimal, and to elevate our meal into a social activity as we relate through social intercourse with the people with whom we are sharing the meal.
As humans, we have a similar capacity to elevate sex from the animal in us to a human level. On the one hand, the animal within us seeks to fulfill the natural drive for sex and the desire for the "high" of an explosive and mind-blowing climax. For many hobbyists and providers (OK LR - Johns and hookers LOL), that is what the hobby is all about - great sex and an envelope. For others, sex becomes a means of uniting two bodies physically in a moment of emotional and perhaps even spiritually fulfilling connection. Many of us are seeking that higher meaning in sex which is not just fking but is bonding. I would bet that some if not many women feel the same way. Animals have sex - they copulate. Humans can fk like animals or we can make love, even if the sensation of love making is limited by the length of a date without further long term implications.
At M&Gs, we act like people at a cocktail party, not animals.
Further, humans also have a unique capacity (with rare exception in the animal kingdom) for exclusivity. What happens when the desire for sexual fulfillment clashes with the constraints of monogamy? Some will call that infidelity. Many rationalize that it is possible to find a balance between acknowledging the animal instincts and desires for sexual fulfillment without harming the specialness of that "one" relationship. For others, the solution is an "open marriage", accepting the possibility of recreational "no strings attached" sex as a means of strengthening and enhancing marriage. Some men cheat on a wife or SO. Others don't see it as cheating but as satisfying a missing need in order to preserve their masculinity and their marriages, a means to fulfillment instead of destructive frustration. Semantics? Probably! But that is another human trait that both the men and women in this hobby exercise - the capacity to convince ourselves and justify our actions.

I especially love the last sentence.
Did I not tell you to take out the "Many men are seeking that higher meaning in sex which is not just fkin but bonding?" Damn, Mangina you.....LOL> I don't deny those men exist, but very few are seeking that with a hooker. If they are, they are deluded because money can't buy true intimacy. It can buy someone to 'act' like they are into you and at times there is that connection that can't be helped yes, but you can't buy that. It is either there or it is not.

In his inelegant way he was saying that he was surprised a lady who writes as well as you do would fall for that error in grammar. The correct verbiage is "Both Sarah and my...".
Maybe it's because I have not had a drink yet...hmm. Thanks babe.
Really Genius??
I hope you feel better about yourself know (Uh... I mean now).
Being reincarnated into an English professor for the "Hookers, Grammar and You" course by CocksuckerStone I'm sure will be an envied position in your next life. Rosetta Stone??? what???!
"Verbage" is what they put in cole slaw right??? Bwa ha ha ha!!
Thanks for the replay...Captain "I've never misspelled ANY verbage whilst typing."
Come on Clarence she lives in Alabama.
"When I's itches I's scratches"
You do realize that the apostrophe after the 'I' was used to show ownership and not used as a contraction right? i.e. Would you prefer I used "Me and Sarah's posts?"
-- Modified on 10/19/2012 1:38:54 PM
but As in English, but I don't think I ever used that phrase in any paper. It's not "Sarah and My" thoughts for damn sure lol.
Thank god for all the hookers you've fucked if you like, and claim a higher meaning if it makes you feel better. All the traits you mentioned have examples from nature as well. Perhaps the only unique trait is your belief in a "supreme being". No doubt made in your image. That will top off the conceit of thinking you are unique on all the other levels. Can I get an "amen" brother and sisters?

Perhaps you would open the door to experience what wow0315 is talking about if you stepped up the quality of the women you are booking. You might not have so many awful sessions (as reflected in your review history) either.
and try not to judge me only by what is in my reviews. I write mostly as a scout, usually first time reviews, or first in a long time. I'll get back to you later, I'm off to see the best of the best right now, and there will be no review.
BTW.... I'm very well experienced in what wow is talking about, I think, from my also limited perspective.
Anyone who plays in these arenas and "judges" others who do the same, isn't able to look him/herself in the mirror. I don't judge you. I merely commented based on the information that was in front of me. I'm glad to hear that you're "experienced at what wow is talking about...." One doesn't discern that from the info available on TER and, for sure, I'm not a mind reader. Out of curiosity, do you think there's something totally incompatible between hobbying/escorting and religious belief?
I really respect whatever a person wants to believe, I just believe very differently. I study the Bible intently and debate against religious belief, but don't throw away the baby with the bathwater, and often quote from it.

I was taught that to assume is to make an ASS out of U and ME.
Let's give it a break. I get your drift. I think you get mine.
Have a great day.
I realized far too late into the game that my ASSUMption could be way off and I'm far to ready to argue what I wanted rather than listen to what was said. Point well taken, but please do tell, Is your religion compatible with the hobby?
Quite a departure from much of drivel we read here. I appreciate your attempt to add a larger dimension to all this. Both for us guys and the gals, too. I'd bet that we'd find some secret longings just under the surface veneer in the vast majority of the "enthusiasts" (I hate the word, hobbyist). Hope you have a thick skin. Some of the replies are going to test your equanimity. As for me, a big Thank You!
I very much appreciate a topic about which we can all have a real and civil discussion!
Yep most of your comments are based on the Judea Christian upbringing you have been subject to. There are billions of people out there who doesn’t fall into your categorization.
The more science understands the animal world, it appears that the animals have feelings, can sense danger, make judgment to avoid the danger. In some cases animals have better ability to sense danger and protect itself. This was observed during the Asian Tsunami and numerous Volcano eruptions in the Philippines and Indonesia.
humans are not special. in fact in many ways we are far less developed...emotionally, physically...than our fellow animal counterparts. the vast majority of us do not know or understand even our most basic drives or actions. why am i having a child? why am i getting married? most are simply following what they believe is expected, what must be "natural" (because after all, everyone is doing it), and do not bother to examine such decisions beforehand.
as for monogamy/exclusivity, i believe that humans are among the animal species with the LEAST capacity for sexual monogamy. you will find many other animal species who will mate and bond exclusively for long periods and more than a few who will even mate for life. even of those who spread their seed freely among their group, with most there is still a feeling of possession between the male/females and the offspring which will be produced. it is more of a polygamous family situation than your typical human "screw anything female and breathing who says okay."
religion, society, and impulses tell them. Animals have the ability to "sense" but not reason. They do not know the 'why' behind what they do...most people I associate with, are just the opposite. They know exactly why they do things, and are either responsible, carless, or my atf....oblivious.
They either take the consequenses that come with their decisions or they blame shift, when they can't face the cold hard truth when the end results to their choices, have them in a tight spot. We often kick ourselves over the messes we make, but in reality we know why we are at a certain place in life....our actions and decisions got us there.
Each action we take either moves us forward or backwards in the goals we want to achieve. I do believe in many instances we are very much like animals, and at times, even worse. What mother could put her kid in a dumpster without having an ounce of remorse? What father could rape his own daughter? You can't possibly think that is a peron who is rational or stable, but many times they are very much so. They are selfish, but at times sane. We call it insanity, because well...it's easier to swallow that way. Can't possibly be that some people are just fked up!
At times, the human mind becomes an unstable and psychotic mind, and it is usually something in life that made those people that way...at least, that's what they will blame it on. "Because my mother did this to me, I do it to you." "Because people picked on me in high school, I am going to go shoot a bunch of innocent kids in Denver." "Because I was raised poor, stealing from the rich is ok."
So, you can in fact turn a human into an animal, but I think the word animal is a compliment in this context, because I don't know many animals who could be that fked up. At least they have a reason for doing things on impulse...they simply don't know any better.
Humans often to things they know are wrong, and justify them as right...we know full well what they are. If we feel bad about doing something the only way to feel ok, is to pretend we don't "believe this or that" thinking it excuses us...well, it does not. I could say I don't think drinking and driving are wrong because I never killed anyone, but it does not change the fact that it has consequences. I could also say the same about cheating on a test..."well, I don't think it's wrong and I need an A to keep my average up."
"The voices made me do it, the devil made me do it," and on and on and on.
It is truly amazing how blind so many people are when it comes to their own wrong doing. For once, I would just like to see more people own the shit they do!

Um sweet pea? Animals reason. They teach their young how to survive. If instinct alone were that strong, there would be no thinking involved. Plants don't seem to think, but have survival instincts and tactics. Animals think and reason.
They either take the consequenses that come with their decisions or they blame shift, when they can't face the cold hard truth when the end results to their choices, have them in a tight spot. We often kick ourselves over the messes we make, but in reality we know why we are at a certain place in life....our actions and decisions got us there.
Um sweet pea? We all face the music whether we blameshift or not, and we all have and make excuses. "I always charge a married man" comes to mind.
Each action we take either moves us forward or backwards in the goals we want to achieve. I do believe in many instances we are very much like animals, and at times, even worse. Um sweet pea? In honest self examination, you should find you have a lot more in common with Adolf Hitler, than with your "God of the bible". If not, read again. And you know I'm an atheist as I have told you, but I know also what you have told me you believe in these public posts.
At times, the human mind becomes an unstable and psychotic mind, and it is usually something in life that made those people that way...at least, that's what they will blame it on. "Because my mother did this to me, I do it to you." "Because people picked on me in high school, I am going to go shoot a bunch of innocent kids in Denver." Um sweet pea? read above about blameshifting.
So, you can in fact turn a human into an animal, but I think the word animal is a compliment in this context, because I don't know many animals who could be that fked up. At least they have a reason for doing things on impulse...they simply don't know any better.
Um sweet pea? All animals, including us, have examples of Fked up. Most will kill their young if born deformed, but plants don't do that. They reason that it will end up better off.
Humans often to things they know are wrong, and justify them as right...we know full well what they are. If we feel bad about doing something the only way to feel ok, is to pretend we don't "believe this or that" thinking it excuses us...well, it does not. Um sweet pea? Stop trying to make people feel bad about what they do, and they will come up with less excuses. If there is no victim, there is no crime. If there is, punish it accordingly. To hell with morals and trying to make anyone feel bad. Make the punishment make them feel bad.
"The voices made me do it, the devil made me do it," and on and on and on.
Um sweet pea? The devil made me do it? Only the religious whack jobs believe in such a character. Stop making my voices feel bad.
It is truly amazing how blind so many people are when it comes to their own wrong doing. For once, I would just like to see more people own the shit they do!
I own it all. I won't cower or blush. Now come here and let's fornicate! (sorry, I meant make love)

You can believe what you want, justify it however you please, and I will do the same. "Stop making people feel bad about what they do?" Are you even serious with that dumb ass statment? You're right people who rape and murder should feel all warm and fuzzy...let me know how you feel when it happens to someone you love. I am just going to pretend your entire post was sarcasm for sanity's sake lol.
I put examples of what other people use as excuses for their actions in quotes for a reason...other people said them, not me.
I don't blame my child's father for not supporting us...I blame myself for being stupid. I don't blame me being a hooker on not being able to make enough money elsewhere, when I could very well get 3 jobs if I had to. I don't blame my upbringing for the reasons I take the easy way out...that's my issue. If I had a mate, I sure as hell would not blame him for my bs either. Other people can't make you do anything you don't decide to do, unless of course you don't have a mind of your own.
Again, you don't believe in God and I do so it's pretty useless to even try to debate what is what with a person who does not feel the same way. Then again, I don't blame God or Religion for my issues either.

Read the rest.....Let the punishment put them to shame. They wouldn't hear you anyway. Stop calling you're English teacher a dumbass! I won't feel bad anyway.
hating those who wrong us, only hurts us but what's your point? You made it sound as if those who do wrong deserve a badge or some shit. You also said animals reason, and they don't. They live by example and instinct. If a dog bites a child in the face and the child did nothing to him, how is that the ability to reason? It's not. It is purely animal instinct and reaction. If the animal knew between right and wrong ( only through classical conditioning of course, which is a trained behavoir ), he would not have bit the child. Animals also fk each other in the azz on a bright sunny day with millions of people around having a picinic...reason? Funny.
Well, it's been entertaining, but I am off on weekends lol.
-- Modified on 10/19/2012 3:56:33 PM
If a dog, in your example, always bit the innocent child, then instinct maybe. Most of the time they do not. That is reason. You may not know why, or agree, but there is a REASON. I just define right from wrong different than you. It has everything to do with how I treat others, and nothing to do with social norms, pressure, religious belief, etc. My moral compass is pro freedom, to do what you want, and cause no harm. Example: I don't do any narcotic drugs, but believe in a persons liberty to do them, with government's role as allowing education on the topic to be disseminated. Punish when there is a victim, like a dealer who targets kids, or an intoxicated driver, but let the heroin addict find his own end.
Have a great weekend my future lover!
i have to think that those who refuse to believe this have had their minds clouded by religious indoctrination and cultural brainwashing which teaches folks that humans are somehow superior beings, or they simply have not bothered to be educated in or even casually observe animal behavior. a mother elephant watching her drowning child may have an "instinct" to save that baby's life, but the knowledge and skill to actually DO it requires a high level of intellect and reasoning. she knows how she must balance and position her own body in order to provide a steady base as she reaches out for the child with her trunk...she knows the baby must be grabbed from behind, she knows how to deal with the baby's fear, etc. there are countless examples of primates raised in laboratories, having no experience with their natural-born peers, who very quickly process and problem solve brand new problems. even my domestic cat applies reason when upon our return home after a long day out and sensing stress or sadness, she does not whine and beg for food. instead she will snuggle against us and quietly provide comfort, for as long as it takes.
i have to say that i do not really know how to argue or debate on topics like this intelligently with someone who believes that humans alone are capable of reason and complex emotion.
have the ability to justify and rationalize the things they do as humans do? I think not. So yes, the word reason was wrong. I love the way everyone blames people's ideas and thoughts on religion...how original. No, I did not spend 7 years in college studying the damn animal kingdom, but common sense tells us that only one thing sets us apart from animals and that is the ability to bullshit our way out of the things we do. I don't need a google button to quote it either.
Just because I believe on God, does not mean I use him as an excuse for why I feel and act the way I do, but while we are on the subject if you do believe in God, then you know how asanine it is to say that humans are not superior beings, but I digress.
Do you think the Devil wants to rid the world of animals in the final days and now? Ha...funny. I don't not cheat on my mate because I think it's bad in God's eyes...I do it because I don't feel the need to live that way, and quite frankly I am too much of a bitch to ever lie to a mate. I would prefer he know full well what he is getting into.
We are supposed to have souls which animals do not, and that soul grants us certain luxuries that animals are void of. One of those things is free will, and the consequences of it. Sure, let us debate on that shit now because everyone sure has some way of dissecting things to make it fit better for their argument.
So, I agree that it is more than difficult to debate anything with people who don't have the same beliefs as you do, because no one is going to change the other's logic or thought process. Whether you call it reason, rationalization, or justification is of no concern to me, but saying that humans are not superior to animals just based on what we have accomplished even, is hilarious.
Trust me...it has been made more than clear making excuses for behavior that hurts others and being oblivious, would be the more peaceful way to live.
-- Modified on 10/19/2012 6:07:16 PM
LR I believe you were speaking of the ability to REASON, to make a decision based our human ability to weigh all the factors given the complications and ramificactions of the final decision. Not for example, the REASON you choose a long sleeve shirt today because it cooler than yesterday.
Unfortunately some decisions made do hurt someone else, and that goes for everyone. I admire owning your actions and decisions, but they still might hurt someone. I own the decisions I make but I also try not to hurt anyone along the way, but it does happen. Comparing Humans and Animals with their abilities to reason but not their reasons for doing it, is not really a debate. We are different species, all created by God with a specific purposes.
I think this discussion has definitely run its course and is over. My ability to reason, gives me my reasons for the post
London, your opinion seems formed by your religious beliefs (a belief in God and a belief in a system of exact right and wrong according to the bible). Is your opinion that sex-for-the-sake-of-it is wrong informed by something in the bible?
My opinion (not informed by a Judeo Christian god) does not rely on a universal measure of right and wrong when it comes to non-procreational sex (which includes transactional sex). In my approach, I would ask why one thinks such sex is wrong. I do not believe it is wrong. I believe lying is wrong, but I am not going to tell you that you can't lie and that you're bad if you do. That's not my place- I can only speak and behave for myself. Nothing in the world I can possibly do will effect change in another person- the only person I have complete control over is myself. And I choose to not lie about what I do to a partner. Other lies I will choose to engage in due to the social unacceptability (and illegality in certain circumstances) of what I do. I do not agree with the reasons it is socially unacceptable. Just like I do not agree with the reasons that interracial marriages were largely socially unacceptable and outlawed until some time in the 60s. I don't think that couples who intermarried back then were wrong, even though they fell afoul of the law and most of "society" saw it as wrong.
It is important to me to constantly question "the way things are" and ask why they are that way. Once I have reasoned as completely as I can about an issue, then- and only then- will I proceed with a clear conscience and act on my own decision.
You haven't given a reason why having sex or giving companionship for money is wrong. You just say it is. If we say we don't agree with you, you say we are BSing ourselves, or justifying it, or whatever. Not a very strong argument.
Are only those who thump the King James version in the know?
I put examples of what other people use as excuses for their actions in quotes for a reason...other people said them, not me.
I don't blame my child's father for not supporting us...I blame myself for being stupid. I assume since you quoted my post, it is this one you are referring to? Please show me where in that post or anywhere for that matter, where I said “pay for play is wrong.” I said I “see no honor” in it, meaning it is not something I would flaunt around, and shout from the rooftops, as I would compared to real life accomplishments that actually count for something. Just because I don’t wake up each morning jumping for joy over the next c*ck I get to suck like you seem to do, does not mean I think it’s ‘wrong.’ It is just not something one puts on a resume unless you want to be a porn star. You seem to have a really hard time with women who don’t act like whores outside of their JOB…you’ve called them old fashioned, deluded, etc. The funny part is, your statements are more telling about who you are, vs. who they are.
Here’s where we get to assumptions, and I will once again illustrate how stupid it makes one look. You ASSume that because I think something is not right ‘for me,’ (casual sex for free) that I must think it is not right for others and I never once said that…that’s what people with a guilty conscience ASSume others are thinking about their behavior lol. Guess what…no one cares! What I take issue with, are people who try to force their way of life on others.
Perception is reality so if in your mind the things you do are right, then of course they are right ‘for you.’ The problem arises when people like you get offended when others don’t agree with your way of living, and you feel convicted…then you toss the God card to try and dismiss a POV that opposes yours. If you did not feel convicted, there would be no need to project and preach your lifestyle choices the way you do.
You said and I quote, “Monogamy should be the exception and not the rule.” That is a pretty strong statement from someone who claims she does not project lol. Why do YOU care what other people choose to do with THEIR lives to the point where it has to be EITHER the exception OR the rule? Why can’t ‘it’ just be what ‘it’ is, and that is an individual thing? I simply don’t get why you are so vehement about anti monogamy….it just does not add up why you are so focused on what other people do in their relationships. You almost come across as mad even, when others say they still believe in true love with only one person as if it’s disgusting or something. Many people feel the alternative is disgusting, but of course not people on a hooker board…shocking.
Because monogamy is not for you, it must not be for anyone…others are deluded to believe in love and marriage because you don’t. You ASSuming that God is the only reason people choose to fall in love, not cheat, and live by decision vs. emotion, is about as stupid as others ASSuming the only reason you are against monogamy is because 1. You have never had it, and wish you could find a man who was faithful to you, or 2. You have in fact had a taste of love but that guy/guys lied to you, used you, cheated on you, then tossed you aside like yesterday’s trash, and now you are against anyone else having a loving relationship because it did not work out for you. See how silly assumptions are? Next time you assume God makes my decisions and that I somehow care what you or anyone else does, chew on that one a bit. I never said what ‘you’ do is wrong…never. As long as adult sex is agreed on by both parties and does not involve children, incest, rape, or animals, I am not against anyone’s kink....still, that does not mean I have to live my life that way outside of hooker world.
I find those who scream the loudest about what will never work for others, are the very people who are just pissed off because those things did not work for THEM. Since they can’t figure out how to have a monogamous relationship, they make it their mission in life to preach to others about how stupid and naïve they are to want those things. Same with everything else in life…They don’t have credit to buy a home so they preach about how great it is to rent. They can’t afford to put their kid in private school so of course private schools are just pretentious institutions with no better teaching than public schools. They were not popular in high school, so they automatically put down anyone who was…it’s weak and played out.
I have friends who are Atheists who would work on a garbage truck before they sold their ass, and still don’t believe in random sex with just anyone….so there goes the God theory. If you don’t want people to blame your lifestyle choices on a fked up childhood, never having love so you resent others who do have it, or being abused, then don’t blame their decisions on God or Religion, because both of those assumptions are equally as ignorant to suggest.
Let me show you how foolish and even ignorant it is to correlate my actions with the Bible….I would not be here AT ALL if I made every move according to God’s word, so look up Religious vs. Spiritual and let me know what you find out…I am in fact the latter, which has nothing at all to do with rules and regulations, but rather relationships. Talking about God and monogamy with people on a fk board is rather moot, but I do find it ironic how quickly those who do NOT believe are the very first to insist that God must be the reason for other people’s actions and decisions, when they are convicted of their own.
Do I think casual sex is ‘wrong?’ Nope, not at all for others, but it does not work for me…did all that in high school and undergrad and found no solace in any of it. I hate to break it to ya, but there are also grown MEN here who would not be if their one love was in fact putting out the way she used to, so I don’t see why it is such a shock that a hooker would not want to fk random men for FREE on her off time lol. Don’t assume I or any other woman is some Bible Thumper just because we choose not to spread our legs for free outside of this. I don't assume you're some skank from the trailer park because you are the exact opposite of me sexually do I? Not even close.
Quite frankly, it is really no one’s business why you, I, and others do the things we do. What I don’t like is when people try so damn hard to force their bs on others who don’t agree. Live your life how you want, but stop telling other people how they should feel and that if they are not like you with your “free sex any time” attitude, they are somehow being “impractical.” Once again, that is YOUR word.
I respect your views as long as you don’t try and speak for the majority of us, and especially ME...you don't know shit about me! We are the exact opposite in looks, location, age, and everything else so I doubt we will share too many clients. Does it make you feel better to know there are others that are just like you or something, because you certainly like to toss that “majority” card around quite often when trying to make a point about YOUR lifestyle.
