Anyways, today was my birthday so I decided to make a special playlist for SO2 and I to enjoy while he gave me one of my presents. I have other playlists for getting it on, but it's mostly just music I like, not necessarily music that turns me on. Therefore, I decided to make a list of songs that aroused me when I was listening to them. It consisted of (a lyrical snippet is provided in quotations):

This is true. The BPM is really what most are after, in terms of sexy.
However, I listen to a lot of screamo/emodem hardcore/post grunge, and those often don't have the aforementioned BPM.
Massive Attack is always hot. But I also am really getting into Turkish metal. One particular band has a song called "Sahip" (master) and is very brutal sounding. At the ending, he basically just growling out filth in Turkish. Very hot. So I also think that "what is sexy" is sometimes subjective.
I'm also into words, so I want what is being said to turn me on lovey dovey words mixed with filthy raunchy overtones is what makes me guuuushhhhh. I intensely dislike Beyonce, so she doesn't get to be in my playlist.

I never feel any different but this year I do.
I looked up and suddenly I'm in my own apartment, avoiding blocked calls cuz it might be Comcast trying to get money from me.
The SO's and I shop for our usual brand of toilet paper, and our bank accounts are linked for quick transfers (when did we all get married?).
Being an adult is...disconcerting. I think I'm developing wrinkles from furrowing my brow too much. Not very cute....

I have a hard time believing sex could be better than it is. I think the so's and have downloaded almost every multi orgasmic sex book for kindle. Not to mention we bought a lot to experiment when borders went out of business. I think women used to hit their peak back then because everyone is repressed. We have good sexual communication, so my sex life is really rewarding. I grew up in the age of audio books and internet!
