...was being stood up recently.  Or so I thought.  The gal had a sterling reputation for service and especially reliability.  We had established an e-mail and telephone dialogue with a rapport that certainly would make such behavior not only uncalled for but certainly inexplicable.

My gut feeling was that something bad had happened. I was on vacation and had no Internet access, but when I got home I posted a "has anyone heard from...." thread on her local board.  After some back and forth for some posts, it was discovered that she was dead, and had been so for some days prior to our date.  Evidently murdered.

I know you're all curious.  It was Alexis in Las Vegas, and to this day, without ever having met her, because of our phone and e-mail contact (she even e-mailed me a get well message when I was in the hospital), I grieve for her.

Long ago I had a "take one for the team" event with an unreviewed lady in Providence, Rhode Island.

I couldn't find anyone on TER for my time there so I connected by way of a net ad.  We talked and e-mailed and all seemed OK.  When I saw her at my door, I was preparred for "ballet dancer" proprotions, but she looked frankly gaunt.

I didn't sleep well.

An awfull lot happened to me in the summer of 1984.

I was a branch manager of a well known Auto Rental Chain. I was removed from office because one of my fellow co workers was dating our mutual Boss. I was ushered into a dimmly lit room, and told to hand over what amounted to $200.00 in Phillipine pesos. I hesitated, but was shown the but end of a .45. I paid, and although I had a two hour session with a very friendly filipina, I was not into it anymore.

I came home to witness the start of the 84 Olympics (I live in LA), only to find out that my Grandfather committed suicide by hanging himself. Yeah the Summer of 1984, worst experience I ever had.

Went into an incall and heard something in the closet, it was her boyfriend, I left.

Went to an incall, before I even had time to unbuckle, 4 guys came in with gun drawn and robbed me.

My worst experience was that a provider died, and I worried about her and grieved for her.  I can't imagine anything worse than the death of a young woman.  Especially a good hearted person, as everyone who had met her willingly attest to.

I am in the unique position of having seen both ladies.  

Alexis was the sweetest, gentlest, kindest girl.  I can't believe it, Fortitude.  Someone murdered her?  How do you know this?  If this is true, what an unbelievable tragedy.  God, she was so sweet.  Who in the world would hurt her?  Christ.

I've also seen Charis and found her to be likewise a sweet girl.  But, WTF?  Charis, did you read this thread wrong?  Why in the world would you be laughing your ass off at the death of a fellow provider?!!  I don't get it, and it sickens me, as does the death of that beautiful young girl.

Im soooo sorry. I absolutely did not mean that what happened to that provider was funny in any way. That was tragic and should not happen to anyone. Please understand I am not a hateful person and would not intentionally post something like this. I had thought I responded to the person who found themselves with a he/she. He stated it was uncomfortable and I thought of the brighter side of thinking  that he may have been able to recieve a little extra so to speak. I appologise to everyone and especially to the provider who was so wrongfully hurt.

Yes and no. I read that thread right and yes it was a horrible thing to happen. But I honestly thought I was responding to another post in this thread. I recieved an e-mail warning me that two providers had been killed recently, before reading this post. One in New York and one in LV. I was happy to see someone had brought this up on the boards, we could all use reminders of how dangerous this is, its just unfortunate that something like this had to be our reminder. Again I'm  horribly sorry for my F***up, I should have been paying better attention. I hope you all can forgive my stupidity.

I'm sorry I never had the pleasure of seeing Alexis, and her tragic death is very sad. I'm sure from what I've seen posted by so many people that knew and loved her, that she was an extraordinary human being.

I have seen Charis several times. I'm no mind reader, but I would guess that she misread the post, and her response was based on that misreading.

She does not seem like the type to mock someone else's tragic demise, nor does she seem mean-spirited from my experience.

I knew Alexis. She was no bullshit, had a kind heart, stayed off the boards and out of peoples business if it did not pertain to her. You could have taken a few cues from her obviously.

To make jokes and laugh at the horrible death of another provider, let alone another human being just showed a whole lot about you. Truly, truly distasteful.

you could contact her by PM or email and let her know what is being posted on the boards, in case it's a very BAD mistake; and she doesn't visit the boards often - to give her the opportunity to redeem herself.

I can't imagine any other explanation other than it being a huge mistake. I certainly hope so, anyway...
