I just cringe every time I see a portly provider get a 10. In fact, I cringe when I see them get more then a 7.

We can't chalk it all up to that manipulation and fraud though. Hobbyists are just as much to blame. They are the biggest perps of the inflation for being so pacified by pussy in the first place, like lap dogs.

Seems the fast track for most hookers here are those that understand how to manage their reviews.

It's always entertaining to watch the "next" HDH claw her way to the top.  

Not to mention watch the older HDH's put her down...with help of their WK contingent  LOL

I guess some of these hookers actually believe the drivel that the mangina crowd writes in the reviews (and shameless shill posts).  

How often do you guys ask your gal pals for the UTR hookers that aren't into this drama fest?  What about your guy pals....plenty of the boys have their own circle of UTR hotties that don't get into the review drama fests...as they aren't on here.

Where does it say in the review guidelines that only Victoria Secret model type bodies can get a 10/10?

Or are those your personal parameters? Because if they are, and you happen to stumble upon a provider that is not the body type you prefer, isn't it up to you to score her? And let others score the way they see it?  

If not, it is up to TER to add that as a defining guideline,  so any escort who does not have a VS model type body cannot possibly earn anything higher than a 7. Would that work for you?

Or are you trying to get every other guy to see the ladies as you and Chgcpa do?

The OP was asking if there was manipulation of the system.  The consensus (over the years) is certainly...and I was just curious if others see this manipulation as degrading the validity of any scores..from any reviewers.

Some guys like BBW..some like old and ugly..some like waifs and so on.

What I have found interesting is the gals who have strings of 10/10's and little else...well, seems odd since none are indeed working at VS.

FWIW I have no interest in the VS types (tall and skinny)...I like them short and petite.  So I rarely go out of that body type to see...that's just me.  Others like them how they like them.  

And if posting here could sway some guy(s) to change that up...I doubt that is a remote possibility, nor one that I have any interest in pursuing  :D

I guess I am missing something here. You like short and petite, another guy might like 6 feet and up, I mean, in your eyes a lady will score what you feel is right, the next guy scores his type the way he feels.

 You will always get someone who thinks/feels your score are right on and another will find your score crap, according to each individual set of tastes and turn ons.

I just don't understand all the irritation and bashing if someone finds a lady a 10 and you (personally and collectively) don't.  

I don't get the manipulation portion, unless you mean when a lady threatens a guy into a 10. I would agree with that, but sometimes you don't know for sure unless he comes on here and admits it. It could simply be a personal choice deal.

Other guys might have different standards. Personally, what some women find attractive I wouldn't touch with another woman's pussy but since I am not the one making their choices and they are, my opinion means nothing.  

When it comes to me, I choose IRL, what I consider 10's. Would all woman think my choice is a 10? Not likely. That was my point. If some guy is into 45 year olds that are chubby and it's his dream, why can't he score 10?

Some guys like that and some guys like tall and lithe and others like short and boney, all 10's to them.

My single lowest performance grade this year was from a reviewer who based his score on the fact that he did not feel I was worth the rate I charge. It wasn’t a nasty or mean spirited review, he just didn’t see the value and scored accordingly. He also waited a month to post the review and did so using an alias. Obviously in his mind, the fear of reprisal was real.  

So if that is true, then it stands to reason that at least some of my more favorable scores may also have been prompted by fear of retaliation. Manipulation – no. Obfuscation – yes.  

My only advice is to recognize that TER is not the Burning Bush or sacred scripture. Nor is it a substitute for common sense and a healthy skepticism.  It is merely a research tool. And like any tool, the skill resides with the person wielding it.

But however one conducts their due diligence, they should start with the understanding that perfect women do not become hookers

Which is how many of the gals utilize to their advantage the review system today.  Guys who simply look here and see a sea of 10's figure "she must be all that and then some"...and in some cases that may be quite true.  But often they walk away somewhat disappointed....and not necessarily due to the prices.

Many gals have said here that they prefer to stay away from the guys who have been around some.  Makes sense to me if they are also those that are understating their ages by 10 years and their weight by 30-50 pounds.  That gets around faster than a speeding bullet...but NOT to the newbs who don't know about the networking that is rampant here.  And those newbs won't dare give her anything but a 10/10...for a multitude of reasons.  Shit...we've got plenty of vets that give them 10's...but they're easy to spot as shills.

I also disagree with your last statement...plenty of "hookers" who are absolute sweethearts and quite attractive.  Generally they stay away from the drama...don't want their clients shilling the shit out of them..and many aren't on TER at all.  BTW...there is no perfect woman...or man.  For every knockout there, there is someone who can't stand his/her guts.  

I stopped writing reviews 2 years ago and posted on the GD board my reasons and how I was going to determine scores from then on.  But I also realized that in many cases it would be considered an outlier.  So I simply use the backchannel method to discuss with those who have similar interests to determine what I expect a gal to look like.  

It works wonderfully  :D

So when I see the johns posting up the reviews on gals I know quite well...it's just humorous in many ways...but also a bit sad.  Especially when I read the comments from the schmoes who saw her because some dude added to the myth more garbage.  And that happens quite often here.

Perhaps not right away but they are often given away by hobbyists privately and not on the boards initially. Certain mangina pussified hobbyists are easy targets for them and they are happy to oblige them namely with inflated reviews and endless frothing on threads.

I usually don't ask providers if they have some dramaless friends, but over the years a few have fell onto my lap. They are either UTR or part timers supplementing their income, not relying soley on their bodies for survival.

Another point to make. With these UTR providers, conversations are never about other hobbyists, providers,
or fuck boards. It is nice to converse without drama, not to mention the sex is usually better and the clock doesn't have a timer.
Reviews never come up in conversations which just fine by me.

I've heard it happens a lot though. But personality can change someone's beauty. I've heard of some strip clubs where the not-so-good looking girl far out does the hottest girls in the club... because of her personality.

Anyway, if you see someone who has great reviews and definitely doesn't live up to them, why don't you just write what you think? Do they threaten to blacklist or something?

Many years ago I advertised on another site and got many responses about freebies for reviews (including admin). I wouldn't do it. I still have NOTHING to do with the site even though it is somewhat popular in my area.

It is obvious I am not a 10/10 fiend either. I agree, if she doesn't live up say something. Some gals will retaliate though. Heard of that happening.  

I do mention reviews but all I say is "If you'd like to review me, please do so". No mention thereafter. Nor do I tell them what to do/say.  

As far as how the system works, I don't think it is all the girls. Sometimes it is the guys as well. Some guys give 10's to everyone they see. Fault in the system is on both. Some guys won't give bad reviews, others only give bad ones.

I recently started writing them again but am a bit wiser to "The Hobby" these days.

Prior to reconnecting with TER; When leaving the incall a few times a "stern"
"Escalade, if you do choose to write a review, No 7's"

Very romantic way to leave the date, wouldn't you say. LOL

Seems the smart hookers have learned to game TER with the "fake review" when it isn't the numerical score they seek.  Not to mention the use of the PM system to stalk the reviewers.  And god forbid you gave her your real email addy...sheesh  LOL

Next time some hooker babbles "no 7"...give her the score she really should get...like a 4 or 5.  Really..that is a good score as it's average, and most here are just that.  But you've got these hookers who believe their own press clippings from mangina boys who wouldn't know a hottie (or real 10) if it hit him in the face.  These pathetic reviewers are just thrilled that some woman would get nude with him...for a fee of course.

The bribing, the threatening. Sorry I answered you and Panthera dude on a slightly different tangent below.  

But I will go out on a very strong limb, one man's hottie is another man's "not so much". I just can't wrap my head around you with your tastes, telling someone else that their choice is not hot.  

There are many guys on here and even not on here that are thrilled to have woman pay them attention after years of neglect, so what if they swoon? Not all guys are jaded and/or life style hobbyists. Neither are bad, they just have a different approach and different needs and view this whole p4p deal, surprise, surpriset, differently.  

I know you can see this, you just love being bloody minded sometimes, which is part of your ever increasing appeal.

As you may have read from others here it wasn't always this way.  Very rarely was a 10 issued years ago.

Honestly I have only given a couple of 10's out...and that was due to some very specific items that the gals did (as well as the body type...petite)...and continue to this day to do.  I may have indeed been the only 10 for one of those gals as well.

The topic was really addressing the blatant reviews of many gals that are nothing now but 10's (the worst is the hooker(s) that have 10 years of mediocre reviews then all of a sudden nothing but 10's...yep..it's there  LOL).  And many of those gals that get them...well, let's just say that many of those same reviewers discuss behind the scenes that "she" was maybe a 7 or an 8...but had to give her a 10 for a variety of reasons.  Some of those, as rrasha explained earlier is that if a guy pays more than he's accustomed to...he doesn't want to feel like an asshole that he got shnookered.  Many simply won't even write that review for fear of reprisals...or worse.

We could go down the Top 100 (especially the local Top 100) and determine why many of them are indeed where they are at.  Some of them are, as Panthera suggested, well on the north side of 40 and overweight.  But those gals realize that they need to "manage" the reviews or their 500-1000/hr rates will no longer get paid.  

So my interest here was to quantify what constitutes "managing" their reviews.  

I've come to the conclusion after years of watching and knowing many of the HDH's personally that they manage it via TER...and disregard the johns.  Those gals figured out how to continue making it appear that they're still on 30 or 35 and svelte...when many are north of 40 and could certainly afford to hit the gyms.  Not to mention those youthful looks have long been gone...replaced in many cases with plastic surgeries.

So no question my 10 is probably not even close to the norm.  But my 10's don't get them very often..and rightfully shouldn't.  Heck...8's are on the high end for many of the gals I know.  Yet...their parade of 10's continues  LOL

Of course...all of this is simply how I see this game today.  Others...especially the new kids have no idea until they get a year or so into this...and see at least 25 different types of gals.  Then they'll see what I am discussing.  And will in many cases just shake their heads as well  LOL

Welcome to the downside of the review system. You guys wanted this and now you have deal with the monster you all created. If you start rating women like sides of beef or at high school holding up numbered cards, what do you expect? Some of these women live and die by their review scores.  

And will do whatever it takes to keep them high. Why, because some guys have repeatedly said they will not see anything below an 8. Hence the "no 7's".  

Thanks for the extra explanation, you know me being a dumb hooker and all, it is appreciated. I do see what you mean but the system is flawed and as some have said, take the scores with a grain of salt.

But I've never gotten involved with any girls who were hung-up on review drama. I haven't even written a review since 2010 and that particular lady asked me not to at first!  I wouldn't say I set out to go UTR but it just sort of happened. In all of my years on TER I've only seen one lady that had any sort of a strong board presence.  Not saying I wouldn't see a girl with a lot of reviews but it's not a priority.

To a collection of numbers that defines their worth to the consumer. Did you not expect that this would happen? It started a competition war between those who live and die by their reviews.

Some women don't care about scores, some so much that they refuse reviews.  

While reviews are good for the guys, there is a downside, welcome to it.

Nothing wrong with a girl trying to "maximize" her PR if the service is there.

Girls who give false information (i.e. lie) will get caught and trashed sooner or later.  I have seen this happen more than a few times on TER.

And some of us do deserve our reviews. Some of us do not. The best you can do is research and accept that everyone is going to have a different experience.  

 If someone isn't even a little bit your type, then there's no reason for you to ever even see any of her reviews. It's a simple search away. Physical and sexual perfection is different for everyone, clearly.  

And with that, you have to accept that the girl just may not fancy you, or you her, and that's why she wasn't your 10. That shouldn't be a surprise to some of you, and its a pretty simple concept in general.

Maybe I'll call McDonald's and tell them to reevaluate their menu structure because the one down the road always forgets something, and I do hate that fish fillet...

wish I was home more often, but travel for work....

So I gots to do my research! Met many nice ladies all over. Good or bad I review. Yep. Slam me, idc. Smart hobbyist here. Not gonna be denied if I call a hooker out. Same to be said if I gloat about one.

I am fair and I contribute to the hobby. Just not dumb enough to put my handle out there ha ha.
