The last year, I've been obsessed by two things; making money and finding available providers to spend it on.   I don't track how much I spent, but it was probably enough to buy a decent new car.

When I was a youngster, I would hang out at the various metal-bending businesses in my blue-collar hometown, where my "uncle" (the kindly owner/manager) would  be out visiting "customers".  I would sometimes overhear shouting matches about "expense accounts" getting out of hand ..

As I worked summer jobs at the same places, I would discover "branch offices" and "consultants" on the books,  as well as eye-watering expense reports for trade show jaunts to Chicago, Las Vegas and later Orlando.  

I discovered much later in life that I got those coveted summer jobs in part due to my Uncle being an MD who would discreetly treat STD/STIs  without reporting them to the health department.

The point being, that's the way it should be .. I wish my P4P was a tax-free perk of my employment, like a gym membership.

From what I read on the boards, I  get the drift that  the most active punters seem to be business owners or  have solid defined-benefit pensions .. and do P4P as an alternative to an expensive, time-consuming hobby like golf,  boating, etc.

Back in the day we had walking around money, like seven figure walking around money. Some high profile groups in the industry were 'busted' because some of that belonged to the Feds. They did exactly what you saw when they started auditing the books more closely.  The 'me too' movement, woke crowd, and other similar things are killing or killed those avenues for pay for play.

That so much quality pussy variety was available on a cash basis I surely would have structured my life differently to acquire recreational funds.  Money was otherwise too abstract to me and I never pursued it beyond the apparent necessities of life.

If TER and P411 were around when I was in my 30's, I might never have invested in a sailboat.

Wife has passed on and kids up and gone. Retired and have the time and luckily sexual ability and desire ticking along nicely. I no longer golf (never liked it) and have no other expensive hobbies and expenses. So I have a fairy good supply of funds to help young ladies fulfill my desires at will. Never let a good hard-on go to waste and a young ladies mouth is far superior to your hand.

I spent a month (or two) hobby budget in the past week, as I crossed the magic threshold for fully vaccinated ..  
It's done wonders for me .. and, I can now go to the skeevy hoe-tels favored by C-GILFs  without fear (though, I do draw the line at the crummy dumps near SJC, I don't want to bring home bedbugs).

I have to make up the lost time, and race against some COVID mutation that's going to shut things down again .. or some super-STD that will shut down P4P.

The key is to not "waste time" in the first place because we only have so much time on this Earth.

 
Speaking for myself, just like I said BEFORE the country lost it's collective mind with fear over this virus, I wasn't going to let a disease so unlikely to do me serious harm rob me of even a day of the time I have left. Over a year ago I said I was going to be right here laughing at those people who spent the pandemic hiding in their basements and here I am doing just what I claimed.

during the pandemic last year.   I never caught Covid and never tested positive (I tested twice a month).  Trying to "make that up" now would be all but impossible, because my rate of seeing new providers this year would suffer accordingly.  There are just too many girls and not enough time left in my life to put it off, so I didn't.  

Me, I guess I am not as "nice" as you. I promised well over a year ago that I would laugh at the fools who believed everything they were told about COVID and who were scared into hiding in their basements for over a year while guys like you and me still managed to pretty much live our lives as normal, and I am sure you know how much I hate to break a promise. lmao

 

I know it's kind of bad form to say "I told you so" but both of us are on record from the beginning about not giving into fear and living to laugh at those who did. So the the stupid and the gutless all I have to say is Neener Neener sucks to be you. lol

mongers are still showing up at the door of the incall with a mask on and wait until the provider "invites" them to take it off?  There's probably some overlap here with the guys you're talking about.  Lol

Besides with all the stupid shit I did as a kid (and as an adult too) everyday since about 30 is "extra time" I probably don't deserve in the first place. lol

Thankfully, I had time on my had. I was accidentally introduced to the possibility of hobby by visiting AMP in a small town in PA when I was only 20 going on to 21.  The friend that I went to the place with, never ended up doing anything with this form of lifestyle, but I did..  So I have pretty much lived most of my adult life with mongering being a legit expense for me, and literally a line item in the personal excel spreadsheet that I keep as a part of my household budget.  Its no different to me than going to Florida in August, and Las Vegas after the World Series.. This, for me, is not an alternative to any other hobby.. This is just part of who I am..  

 
I can understand and empathize with those who have to hide their "vices" under fake expenses, but thankfully, never being married, I never had to hide anything from a spouse. I've been in 9-5 job until I was 35, and did not have any well defined pension plan or such, and now I work in and co-own my father's business. He is semi retired. While I can technically hide some of my mongering under some expenses, I don't feel the need to ...

 
At the end of the day, it's all about how you want to structure your life, and what are you willing to give up to get what you desire.
