You are begging to be ripped off. Don't do it.

For providers that require deposits, how do you make a payment while at the same time maintaining your privacy? For example, paypal requires you to verify the name on your account by linking to a bank account. When you send payment the email says "you have received a payment from John Smith". What if you would prefer to not announce that payment is coming from John Smith, is there a more discrete way to do it?

Enzo: you're dealing on the blackmarket now, which means the risks are high and there's no legal recourse if you're ripped off.  Never give anyone money in advance.  I don't care how hot her photos are, I don't even care if you've seen her before.  No  deposit ever.  --z

For $300 one hour session or $150 special there is no need for a deposit obviously, so I'm guessing you are planning to book longer sessions.
You can send a Visa gift card for up to $500, which should cover a deposit for multi-hour/day encounters with high class ladies. Most of them have a PO box to mail to. You can also mail a cashier's check / money order (I think one of them might include your name, not sure). Very easy and anonymous.

That's the  reason I see them in the first place.
To leave a deposit.

Oh, you mean cash??
Never mind

IMHO you are asking to get burnt with substantial deposits.  I will turn it
around on the lady that said there should be a level of trust on an extended trip.  I agree - you probably shouldnt be going on a trip with a guy you dont know very well.  If you know the guy, why not work some arrangement to get half of the money upfront (after arrival at said destination) than the other half on departure.  But a deposit?  Who was the guy that got burnt on a substantial deposit?

Frankly I'm not that concerned with the risk of a well reviewed provider walking with a hundo or two, I am more concerned with my identity being attached to an electronic transaction.

...And for the people here barking that they'd never do a deposit, well likely they'd never spend more than an hour or two with an escort anyway.

People send me deposits all the time.  $1k, $2k, $2k, $4k, $5k+.

I never have an issue receiving them via Green Dot.

I never have a problem following through on my end.

Sure there are some outliers in this business that will take your money and skedaddle but many of us value our professional names above all else and will do anything to keep a client happy and comfortable.

Green Dot and don't worry about it.  Or cash / check to her personal business if she is outfitted to accept it.

And I am sorry for those that have been burned. And yes just because someone is well reviewed does not mean they are above reproach. I guess I just feel its no more risky than seeing a nonreviewed provider, which I have done before and had a very nice time. Chances are, if I continue to do that eventually I will have a bad experience at least once. In life, sometimes people let you down, but I dont let that get me bitter.

The way I see it, having a couple dozen excellent reviews gets you a modest benefit of the doubt, and if Im wrong I am willing to TOFTT and let everyone in the community know. And if not I could have a good experience and a nice review to write. To me this is what the hobby life is about, you win some and you lose some but, never compromise yourself or wager more than you are willing to lose.

Its not like the ladies dont risk anything in this game either. Im sure for everytime a lady walks with a deposit, a guy will short her, try to extend without paying, or cross her boundaries. Would you say she is stupid for providing? Not unless she failed to do her due dilligence and verify a guy right? But how many of us see a provider every day without being 100% verified? And even then?

For example when I am going to cook for my (new) client, I need to be sure they will show up. It costs quite a bit to rent the apartment, buy the food/supplies, book the limo and so forth. I accept paypal via my company name- not "tabitha cooks escort" "www.ebonyescortnewyork.com" or any other other phrase linking it back to me. Hopefully anyone else taking deposits has the smarts to do the same.

If the provider has already screened you, she has that information. Why would it make a difference at that point?

And even if you have been ID'd no need to leave an electronic trail with your name in perpetuity....I would rather be out a deposit than leave an obvious paper trail.........so what is your fav thing to cook?

The only way I'd feel comfortable with a deposit would be for someone with whom I had a well-established track record and we'd both developed a significant level of trust in one another. And if we had that level of mutual trust, a deposit probably wouldn't be needed anyway.

Anyone that I knew well enough to give a deposit to would know me well enough not to need one.

The only exception of course would be if she had to actually out lay real cash out of her pocket in anticipation of our date.

I suppose. If I were particularly worried about paper trails, I'd buy a prepaid amex gift card or get a greendot. Also,  I have collected cash deposits in person before.

As for cooking....I've been perfecting a sweet potato gnocci. Unfortunately sweet potatoes are going out of season now.
