I have a few questions.
At the urging of a close friend, I took the plunge and signed on AdultFriendFinder, it is my first ever on a dating site. It took me 2 days to finish my profile, answered all the questions honestly, and uploaded a few pictures of myself. Double checked my profile for accuracy, and found no problems. So, I write a self introduction, and likes and dislikes, etc. Took the personality, and the Purity test.
That has been almost 3 weeks ago, since then I have received over 70 emails, from ladies, and one from a TS who want to meet me, either in person or online video chat, about half from gold/silver members, 59 Flirts, and over 100 Hotlists, as of today. Some of them asking for my phone number/email, to contact me directly.
This has be some kind of a scam, right? Are they even real?
I specifically set the age range from 40-52, but I get requests from 19-58, and one from a lady that is 69. What gives?
A few days ago, I got an email from a young lady, asking me to chat with her online, so I did, and soon we switched to video chat. We had fun chatting for a few hours, and then she tells me she would like to move, and live in my area, and work as a waitress at one of the high profile restaurants in DC. Her pitch was that she, and her female partner (she is Bi) would live with me, where I can have unlimited access to her only, as her girlfriend is purely lesbian. I told her I would think about, and get back to her later. She also gave me her real name, and contact info; I think that was irresponsible.
I am very skeptical about this, she does not know me, and I do not know anything about her, very dangerous in my opinion. She told me that she just turned 27, and her partner is 29, but I have to say that she really looks younger in appearance and manner, a beautiful young lady. I am almost twice her age, but she tells me she likes older men. Hmmmm.
So, I did some searching and could not find any helpful info. By the way, her profile states that she is from Sacramento CA, but she told me that she is from Elk Grove, also her profile states that she is 24, but she told me she is 27. Red flags, right?
This also must be a scam of some sort, or....?
I have not responded to anymore emails yet, and I will not do until I know it is safe, and not a scam. Am I right in doing so?
Is adultfriendfinder legitimate? Is it worth pursuing? My friend assured me so, but I have doubts.
Any pointers or advice. Thanks.
