I did in Puerto Vallarta, I asked the concierge about a couple of massage places that did "extras" for tips, and he clued me in to a couple of maids that were in play. Was kinda fun.

As I recall, the magazine article was written by a young woman working as a hotel maid while going to college.

She told several cute stories of finding male guests wearing only towels or birthday suits waiting for her on her rounds.

Alas, she never succumbed to their advances...but on the other hand, I don't think she ever said they offered any cashola.
