I would think so since it's the only group named after a dildo ( for those familiar with Wm. Burroughs "Naked Lunch" ). In fact, one of their more obscure songs, "Here at the Western World", deals with a brothel. The song "I've got the News", from their brilliant album "AJA", contains the following lyric : " Spanish kissin, see it glisten"---obviously a reference to DATY.
Many of their songs have sexually tinged lyrics.

I decided to put this post up because  BizarroSuperdude started the ball on music in his earlier post on movie soundtracks. ( the dude puts up good posts. ) I had previously posted this on the L.A. board & got a number of excellent & intelligent responses. I'm sure the same will happen here.

Yeah, they're a good group (ugly as crap to look at, so it's good that we can listen to them instead).  A lot of groups fit this post though-- sexually tinged lyrics-- so I wouldn't be too sure about them being the only one named after a dildo.  None spring to mind though, although there's Rhino Bucket-- named after a condom.  Gee, I wonder what their song "Ride the Rhino" could be about?  Actually, this is a great band.  By far the best of the AC/DC "sound-alike" bands.  Also, probably the only band who's drummer started out as a man, left the band, had a sex-change operation complete with name change, then came back to the band to reclaim her old job!  It's only rock'n'roll...









...but I FUCKING LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

Not to forget DF's solo "Nighfly" album, which, along with Aja, are permanent fixtures in my car's CD changer.  FWIW, the song "Ruby, Ruby" once applied to a stripper I had a crush on several years ago...compared that feeling to that appiles to my ATF now...no longer applies.  Why not?  Because I have a blast with, actually numerous, with ATF, instead of just a tease with the gorgeous blonde stripper.  At any rate, IGY, Deacon Blues, Black Friday, Haitian Divorce, Rikki Don't Lose that Number, Pretzel Logic, Ruby, Home at Last, Do it Again...what's not to love?
