What do you think the average career of an escort is? I've noticed that most girls get reviews over a span of no longer than two years.  Do they get caught by that time, or just too pyschologically tired?  I've read some reviews that indicate that they think even some of the best reviewed girls get jaded and fall off their game.

lasted 5 years, and are still going. It's all about how you handle your business. I would imagine really high volume women, would be the first to leave...those who use this as "additional" income, have no cause to give it up unless they fall for the lawn boy. Heh.

They become punch drunk and retire , only to get back in the game  at a later date .
Hopefully before it's too late .  :-D

which spans over a decade now, I have seen women who range from 1 day (I guess you need to be doing this for at least 1 day to be called an escort) to 10+ years.

When I moved to DC area in 2002, there were couple of escorts I saw that are still providing. And this one time I went to see this girl and she told me I was her first and last client. She was an agency girl, and was doing this because she needed money. She told me her prospective employer just called her and offered her a position.  Good for her....

So there you go.. That's your range right there.

circumstances. Some find sugar daddies, some don't enjoy the work, some can handle the metal strain, some can't handle the physical strain, some do it as a side job to further their primary career, and the escort is a second job, it all depends on the situation and circumstances of the job.

I've had jobs where I only worked a few weeks and decided to quit because I didn't like the environment. I had a job that lasted a few years. I would assume its the same way with a provider, that is, if she likes it, and can manage it.

Some make careers out of it, and some only view this as a job.

I have to guess that kind of work is less taxing.

As for regular escorts, I can't say I know any who have gone on more than 8 years, though some go in and out of the business so it's a bit hard to compare.

Have been enjoying the company of many fine gentlemen for....9 years.

It's important for me to keep a rather low profile, never do anything that I don't feel comfortable doing (no matter how much cash is offered), and see clients who mesh with my energy enough so we share mutually satisfying experiences.

Oh, and we really have to enjoy what we do, and understand that it's about more than just the money, honey.

I'll be 8 years in January, lol.. although the first year, I was at a MP. I find that those who do no pace themselves, and only do this for the $, tend to burn out quicker. For those who truly enjoy what they do, especially if this is a part-time job, they tend to last longer.

A lot of ladies try it out for a little while, maybe a month, but way less than a year, and discover it is not for them. They may get 2-4 reviews, but they are just passing through. I am not sure how many of the ladies fall into that bucket, but I am pretty sure it is more than 50% of those who turn a trick.

Then there are the ladies who do it, find out it works for them and they are good at it, so they keep doing it. Those are the ladies who can last a long time. But, as others noted, even among those ladies, they come and go as their personal situations change. Maybe they get another job, a new BF or GF, they take a break. Then they break up or need some cash, they come back.

Anyway, from everything I have seen and read, better than 50% (my guess is that it is close to 80%) of the ladies last less than 6 months. But if you just look at ladies who get past that first year, the picture is competely different. Just like any other job, really, it either suits you or it doesn't, and if it doesn't suit you, you will not last too long.

I've been doing this for over 20 years, and I can still recognize a few from when I started when I was 18.
