I had the same problem using proxy server from work today. I had to resort back to classic TER.

I'm sure that many here use TER differently from, say, checking the weather or reading a news headline. Some of us have to take more precautions or get around restrictions in workplace or public place sites.

The OLD TER worked sort of OK with my old configurations but the new TER has too many "tricks" that might be standard fare on standard web sites. But PLEASE give us a break. This is not yahoo.com. We can't just take a look whenever we feel like while at work, in a cafe, etc. Using TER requires some discretion or even extra (software) precautions.

The new "dropdown" lists of Boards (TER General; Regional; Top 10; More) DO NOT DROP DOWN WHEN USING some kinds of FILTERING or proxifying SOFTWARE. Basically, I won't be able to use TER most of the time that I used to (10 minutes here and there throughout the day) because I can't get past the new hi tech but UNnecessary crap you had to program into the site. JUST KEEP TER SIMPLE AND FAST!!!

There are some other problems but I'll save for later.

MAYBE ... provide an option: upon clicking, drop down the dropdowns or link to a page with the board list for another click.

NOT EVERYONE HERE HAS THE LUXURY OF USING TRANSPARENT, UNENCUMBERED ACCESS.
