I looked at London's post about American Courtesans and I agree that there seemed to be a general theme of desperation in the trailer.

Have any providers or hobbyists seen the show "The Secret Diary of a Call Girl"?

No, it's just the provider who is portrayed seems to be on a whole other wavelength. I don't think every provider had a horrible upbringing, but it is hard to believe someone would genuinely care so much about pleasing their clients and their profession as an escort (or at least I feel it's rare)...and Real Housewives? Nice lol.

But honestly, most of it is just fairly mundane everyday life.  The actual escort work is just another part of their day, and they play a character, but for many, it doesn't overtake their life.
