I don't believe most of the ladies I know in this biz have to dial for dollars.... And believe to have genuine friendships with at least three ladies who happen to work this gig. I was talking to a rather jaded friend who also plays this game and he implied that imagination is a terrible thing to get caught up in... That the minute I stopped playing the calls would stop. "They're dialing for dollars, chumppppie!"Do you guys think this is true. Does it happen like this ever? >>>>Telephone rings and I reach across my cluttered desk and pick up.... Me: "Hello, this is , may I help you?"Lady of my Dreams: "Hi Hon, I called to say hi.Me: "HEY GIRL!!! I've been thinking about you a lot."Lady of my Dreams: "Me Too...."Me: "It's been a while. How you doin'?"Lady of my Dreams: "Too long... I'm good. I miss you."Me: "Oh Honey, meeeee toooo."Lady of my Dreams: "So... Why don't you come over right now.      I've been kicked around a little and I need some lovin'."Me: "MMMMM.... That sounds nice.... You know I want to except I can't right now, you know?"Lady of my Dreams: " Yeah... You're busy. I just really   do like to spend time with you. You make me feel right. I   just thought.... It's okay.... What are you doing?"Me:  "No... It's not    that... Sorry. Um. It's like... I'm a little broke          right now. No extra work and things are slow. I'm sorry."Lady of my Dreams: "Really? That's okay!!! So you COULD come      over right now if you wanted to?"Me: "Um... Yeah... but..."Lady of my Dreams: "Okay. It's a date! See you in a few Sweety!"Does this mean this lady wants to date me or drink coffee or sit together and hold each other in blisful comfort... or is this so beyond the realm of reason as to be impossible? Or does "Right Place, Right Time" actually happen in this bittersweet strange 'ol life?

Straightman- Master Hobbyist at Large (and large:-)). I think that you need to introduce your friend to a couple of the providers that you and I have in common- his attitude will change! Yes this does involve business, however, like any business, relationships are forged! Straightman,Now that's an incomplete story!  You certainly visited the lady in question didn't you?  Or was this strictly rhetorical?  In case it was...of course it happens--it's happened to me, although admittedly not nearly often enough :-(

In the mid 90s, before the internet ad boom, when it was generally laxpress, L.A. Weekly, Readers, and so on, I saw one FBSM provider several times and next thing you know she wants to talk about other business, looking for advice.  I show up at her home, not the house where she worked, with some Thai food, we eat, talk and then end up on the floor, doing what hadn't been done yet at the FBSM place.  Ended up dating, going out every so often and yes, I got it all free (well,not free, but it was no longer provider-client situation).  Then she decided to move up north, we lost touch and that's how it goes.  But it was quite a surprise. Of course I hoped to go beyond the FBSM antics, but it seemed fantasy land for it to really happen. But it did. So ya never know.
