Double Standards in Reviews?

It is stated in the review policy that girls may not be given scores of 8 or higher, unless "out of the ordinary services" are provided. Even sevens are reserved for girls that give "perks" or little extras that are above average.

Shouldn't this be applied to both sides? Shouldn't low scores have requirements? The only one is that you are allowed to give a 1 only if NO service at all is given, but money is taken. There are no other standards.

So a girl can provide multiple languages, multiple positions, and multiple cups for the WHOLE hour, for no extra tipping, and still be given a score below 5 (which is average)....just because she did not click with the client.

I think that this is somewhat of a double standard, and is not fair. Yeah, yeah...life isn't fair, but the hobby should be ;)

If a girl provides a certain level of service, she should automatically get at least a 5. Then you can use the details section to explain that all professional and physical expectaions were met, but we didn't click, or she did it all but didn't seem into it.  

Obviously there are other factors that may affect the score, like she was extremely late, or she kept answering her phone, or she left early, or she did or said something really rude or inconsiderate....and those should be taken into account and may lower a score below average.

But to give a girl a 3 or a 4 in performance, just because the two of you "didn't click" is ridiculous. It totally brings down the average of a good provider. Not everyone gets to read the juicy details, so they don't know that you gave the girl such a low score even though she offered above stated level of service. They don't know that your only gripe with the girl was that she didn't connect on a mental or emotional level with you.

Yes, I know that most guys read ALL reviews of a girl and take YMMV into account....but I had to vent. And I am interested in knowing other's feedback on this situation.

On a related side note to hobbiests.....does it make a big deal to you when a girl gets all 8's and 9's, and/or provides a certain "perk" in some of her reviews, but then doesn't provide same "perk" to you? For example, if a girl only DFK's for certain clients? Which "perks" should be considered standard, and which should be allowed YMMV?

This is why Hobbyiest profiles are important.  One provider may be turned on by XYZ but the hobbyiest has OPQ so therefore the review varies from what another experienced the (YMMV) effect.  I really think Hobbyiest profiles are important; Age, height, weight, etc.  My .02

Numbers should only be used as a starting point .. to catch a hobbies eye ... A honest written review is what is needed ... but only to peak interest .. the hobbiest then should contact the provider and see if they click and discuss services ... this way YMMV, she does for one but not for another, can we somewhat avoided ... as for numbers I view them as only numbers and if they are too high my guard goes up .. I don't write reviews, because the truth could really hurt some ... I still after all my years haven't found a 9 or 10 ... Anytime time a hobby doesn't get what he truely believes has been agreed to with his provider .. I feel (MO) no humble here the hobby is being ripped off and it should be posted as such ...and taking one for "the team"  is a joke .....

In order to keep our performance ratings consistent, we set up the following system: An escort provider may only earn up to a 7, unless she also performs the following during a session: Kisses With Tongue, Bare-Back Blow Job, Really Bi, Anal Sex, or More than One Guy. The addition of each offering will raise her score by one point. If your review doesn’t already accurately reflect this rating system, we will adjust it.

This is what it actually says and not what you said.  I cut and pasted it rather than try to remember from memory.  You will note nothing is said regarding multiple cups or positions.

I consider 7 to be average just like a "c".  Therefore to get a "9" all you should have to do besides have sex  is DFK and BBBJ.  If we were in school, this would be called grade inflation.  When I do a search, I set the bottom level for seven because people such as one of the people who replied to you distort the system when they don't give 9's and 10's.  Otherwise too many wonderful providers would be left off.

In my mind there is no reason why a provider who honors a contract to provide sex should receive anything below a 7 for performance.  Anyone who only gives massages and hand release should never get above a seven (who cares if some lady who tell you she is really bi is willing to give 2 guys a hand job at the same time???)
Girls who claim they are really bi don't get extra points unless they tell you they are really lesbians and hate sex with men while they are having sex with you.  There is just some thing so droll about that that you have to toss them a style point for that LOL

So who's ready to change the review system.  Not I, it's not very good but I at least I understands how it works.  Maybe???

on a scale of 1 to 10, 5.5 is average. it's not a matter of opinion, it's simple math. here's a handy conversion chart for # score to letter score, with the school meaning vs hobby meaning for comparison and clarification:

# letter School Meaning      Hobby Meaning

10 = A+ could not be better    cost me $$$$
9  = A  excellent              i know she's reading this
8  = B+ very good              she touched my pee-pee
7  = B  good                   i'll probably call again

This applies to non-porn star providers as well (age notwithstanding).


My peeve with the system is that attitude counts for naught.  There are many skilled providers who offer those "perks" that would rate extra points above the base 7 we talk about.  OK, she did give a BBBJ, but she was looking at her watch, or watching TV, or she was just otherwise occupied.  Does she deserve that 8 just because she did a BBBJ?  I think not.

When I write a review, in most instances I use attitude to express the quality of the session.  I usually "date" that GFE-type that will provide DFK, BBBJ, DATY.  This, under the TER system, rates a 9.  But if she just keeps checking her watch, or is preoccupied with anything but "Us", that doesn't mean that "I forgot it was a service".  And if she is otherwise engaged, as far as I'm concerned she did not "Go the extra mile".

The terms used to describe the session have no correlation to BBBJ's, DFK's or anything else.  "I forget it was a service" clearly describes attitude.  She treated me so well, I was enjoying her company so much, I forgot about that envelope on the lamp table.  That's "I forgot it was a service".

Most of the women I have met lately have deserved very high reviews simply because of attitude.  Never mind the "extras" that were provided, I just prefer that the woman is focusing on me, and me alone.  She is not thinking about what color she is going to paint her kitchen, or when I will be done, or whatever.  It almost has nothing to do with the actual acts, but instead the feeling that she "puts on" for me.  I know alot of this is of course fantasy, but I have found a few women who truely enjoy my company, and I know that I enjoy theirs.  

So bottom line, I always look at the rating systems for looks with a true grain of salt simply because I usually prefer a different woman than the average person does.  As to performance, I look for a person who for at least the alloted time is thinking about me and me alone.

There was a cartoon in the New Yorker this week that has the caption "Male Prostitutes" and shows a guy leaning into a car with a woman.  He is saying "Of course I will listen to you all night!"  This is all I want on a little different scale.

What's relevant to your concern is the fact that scores of 4 or less are extremely rare.  Much rarer than 8 or 9.  So while the kind of abuse you describe is theoretically possible under the rules, in practice it doesn't happen very often.  After all, we must assume that at least half of those low scores are deserved.

As far as requiring specific acts to earn 8+, fortitude and luv_women have left me with nothing to add.
