Stay single and hope your service provider isn't some other guy's wife. If she is, hope she doesn't mention it, and kill the mood.

Some sympathy might be appropriate

If the OP is truly facing into such a situation then I think some sympathy and practical advice would be appropriate.

That said, if "Joe" has been having "good times" playing the field, then maybe wifey said to herself, "why not me too?"
