Bounty hunting, not as they show on TV, is a huge routine of paper trailing, waiting, observation, waiting, researching, waiting, more observation, waiting, internet work, more waiting... and a few minutes of action every few months!
Absolutely not like in the movies.

It's a good business for a few. Those that learn the skills of how to locate people can do it. And take into account that you would be searching for people that don't want to be located... so the paper trail is usually broken.
The more you are comfortable with real investigative work the better you would do as a bounty hunter.
On the bright side, the money can be good if you are efficient in the investigation part, there is little to none regulation on the trade, and you will have some stories to tell to your grandkids...
