I have seriously considered it.

I have seen the provider a numerous times so there is a very high comfort level.

Sounds like your ass is new to being played with, and perhaps was more of a distraction to what could have been a really hot scene had the anal play been taken down a notch.  Even if she took time to do a warm up on your ass before using a toy (sounds like she did...), some people still can only handle so much stimulation on the first few attempts...  When you are in bondage, even lite bondage, you tend to be more aware of things that you wouldn't be if you weren't tied up.
