I've been active in this hobby for a couple of years.  Lately, I've been thinking about what its all about, the pros and cons, what I'm looking for and what I'm getting.  There is the age old debate about looks v. service, which is more important.  The simple answer is to find both but that's not easy, especially if you toss in attitude.  Its a rare occasion to find someone that I'm comfortable with in all three areas.  I am looks oriented but I'm after more than just an hour or two of sex.  Something memorable, throw in some passion.  I'm baffled by lines like, You can fuck me but not kiss me" or "DATY is just too personal".  

Like I said, I'm looks oriented but not exactly looking for drop dead gorgeous but that works too.  Someone in shape, decent looking, down to Earth is just fine.  I work out regularly and am decent looking.  I know that everyone is not looking for the same thing as me.  Open minded, GFE and other terms have sprung up trying to define part of this.  Any degree of desperation kills the mood for me.    

The money aspect doesn't bother me all that much.  LE is still a concern.  Where am I going with this?  Hell, I don't know myself, maybe you can figure it out.  Overall, it has been a ardous task but someone had to do it.  Have I found Nirvana?  Yes, or at least close enough.

Those of us particpating in this business, do it for a variety of reasons.  The reasons vary from person to person, and within the single individual there are a multitude of reasons.

Also, the hobby life is no different than that thing called "the real world".  We have known and unknown reasons for what we do there, and why we are both satisfied and unsatisfied all of the time.  Then...when we are in this hobby...the two worlds collide...because we are involved in both worlds.

You might enjoy doing some reading in what is called "existential psychology".  The ups and downs that are just part of life.  We will always be lonely to some extent, always unfulfilled, no one will ever fully understand us.  All of this is true.

Yet, we connect, we relate, we enjoy, we have pleasure and satisfaction.

Well I love to experience the feel, the taste, the smell of other women. That is the reason I participate in this hobby, although I have to say, most of the female providors have too many hang ups. As you said, the fact that they don't kiss, allow DATY, to me equals no intimacy and henceforth a waste of time and money. I can masturbate easier and not feel guilty about wasting money. I will never spend more than $300 on an hourly session for these reasons, and have tried to stop participating in this hobby.

Just an observation of my own based on one word in your post..."attitude."  While it's a generalization of sorts, that's something I never fail to look for as I read the review details & it's definitely something I try to key in on when I make contact.  

I'm sure we're all different, but to me a woman's personality can be (often is) the sexiest thing about her...& the sexier I think she is, the more I'm gonna enjoy the time with her.  And not all of the sexiest women I've known in my life possessed head-turning looks..some were realistically perhaps only average or slightly above that.  But the laugh, expressions, the way they moved etc etc, are things which seemed to make them exude sex appeal.  

I know I'm probably lumping a lot of traits into the catch-all phrase "attitude"...sense of humor, warmth, enough common interests to have the ability to find things to talk about other than just sex--the list could go on & on.  Now throw in a liberal list of what's available sexually & it pretty much describes the kind of woman I want to spent time with.  

I don't care how hot a woman looks, or if she's supposed to be the greatest thing in the sack since the invention of sliced bread...if her words or actions tell me she thinks she's better than everyone else, I'll pass.  

It seems to me that you & I look for things that, generally speaking, are similar.  While it certainly hasn't been 100% of the time (Nirvana?) I have found it often enough to say that overall I'm happy...while not every experience has been worth repeating, few have really been poor, & some have had all those unique qualities that have lead to many encores.    haven'taside

I wasn't sure that I would get many replies or much of substance.  Thanks for taking the time to not only read but for your thoughts.  *Most* of my best experiences came from absolute shots in the dark.  My first experience was amazing and you'd think you were getting ready for the bitch from Hell from reading her web page.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  I was so ready for sterile sex and minimizing hostility but it was 180 degrees the other way.  No rules lecture (and practically no rules), no attitude, drop dead gorgeous and she didn't seem to have to pretend to like me.  

Another was one offering body rubs.  I never would have booked her but heard she was good looking and not too far from me.  A handjob was about it on the menu from what I could find out.  I've had many sessions with her and each one is unique, primarily because of her attitude.  I got FS at the first session but never have any idea what is on the menu the next time.
